We recently stayed in a 4* Hilton Double Tree no bath there either
As others have said hotel rooms dont have to have a bath.
Can't see how it is teletexts fault if you didn't check tbhFirst Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -
We were advised we would get a better room as the basic could be small and in a corner.
So for your £80 you got a bigger nicer, room with a bigger, nice bathroom.
There is nothing to complain about here.0 -

Will complain when I get back!!!!!0 -
Can I suggest that when you do complain you do so in a calm, logical tone and don't end every sentence with half a dozen exclamation marks.
"We recently booked a hotel with you, ref XXX. Your operator explained that we could upgrade our room for an additional £80, which we were keen to do. Upon arrival here at the hotel in Spain, we inquired whether our upgraded room had been arranged. The manager informed us that there are no upgrade rooms available, and that all the rooms are exactly the same. Therefore I respectfully request a refund of the £80, as we have not received what we paid for".
Or something to that effect.
In the meantime, enjoy your holiday, it could be much worse. We once arrived to a building site where the hotel should have been.0
