I see they're in stock at Dixons now - http://www.dixons.co.uk/martprd/editorial/Sky%20Offer
but is there another offer with the free ipod or phone etc still on? (I know there is also the SKY10 code)
Also, haven't got a phone in the kitchen (and don't want one) where the sky is to go. If I just ran an phone extension lead into the kitchen for when the installer was here, would they accept that?0 -
currys advertising this also - dsg group.
was interested in this as I need new digi aerial anyway. thought I would take up this offer for trial mixes, dish (potential upgrade in future) and minimum result would be more channels available than freeview box.
however, realise I would not be able to record one channel and watch another. anyway round this? (sender from another freeview telly to main telly whilst I record from dish???)0 -
had mine installed today and am very happy with it - dish in a discreet place, cabling tidy and great picture - nice little box too that looks quite stylish.
No direct debit details had to be given and have got 6 months of variety channels which is usually £17 p/m - it includes all the free sat channels as well as entertainment channels and documentaries - you can change the mix of channels after a month and change to sport kids lifestyle etc channels if you want to - it seems like a good deal and the picture is loads better plus i can now see ch5!
free ipod was o.k but a refurb - still made a good pressie and are selling on ebay for £20 - with quidco it only cost £71 and cheaper than a new aerial and a freeview box - thumbs up here!0 -
How long do they normally take to come round and install the equipment once you have rung them to arrange an appointment?
Thank you0 -
chiu what did you go through in quidco was it sky or dixons? Is the offer still on for a freebie or not anyone know thanks taffy0

Dixons seem to have them in stock again, but insist that they are connected to a phone line for 12 months. Whilst the phone line connection is necessary in order to receive the 4 Sky Entertainment Mix channels, if I'm not bothered about these, can I just unplug it from the phone line? Also, why does it have to stay plugged in for 12 months if the free channels only last for 4?0

Looks like Sky themselves are selling it at that price too.

My uncle already has Sky but wants Sky+. We got Sky+ in August and went through Quidco. Is that still the best way to do it? I don't think he wants all the channels but just the 1 - 6 mixes. I see Quidco are offering £125 cashback - is that for the basic Sky+ package or do you have to take Sports/Movies.Telephne and Broadband?
Any help would be appreciated.0 -
