Last shop this morning came to £7.93 which means we have spent £157.03 throughout August on the gc. Good result and leaves £42.97 to go in the savings pot. :j
To those yet to declare good luck in coming under budget. To those who are over - keep trying and hopefully you will have spent less than you would have done before you joined this challenge.

Well,I went to Aldi to take advantage of £5 off voucher.I did need to get meat and fruit. As it was I spent £71.25 in ALDI (lots of meat and store-cupboard stuff.)
Spent this month£286.79/£300.
I am quite pleased with that, though a little disappointed how much today's shop bumped it up.
This was my first month doing the challenge (family of 2 adults,4 children age 12 and under).Until today I had been thinking how well I was doing.Today bumped it up a bit.Still, under budget,so that is good. Will transfer the saving across to savings account.:TSPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Another 93p spent yesterday on the first and only yellow stickered items I've found this month: a mint plant and some posh chips.
I'm also going to have to add £10 for the shopping that never showed up on my bank statement. I'm beginning to think I must have paid in cash, and I rarely have more than a tenner on me, so I don't think it will have been more.
So, that means I'm declaring £76.67/£90 for the month.
I'm very happy with that. I ate very well this month from having to take my own lunches to work, and I don't really need to get it any lower. I'll repeat the challenge in September to make sure I'm properly back in the OS habit.Saving for deposit: Finished! :j
House buying: Finished!
Next task: Lots and lots of DIY0 -
Hi all
Have just totted up my receipts and am declaring £161.01/£150 for August. Bit gutted I've gone over budget but I got a really good deal in cat food and stocked up so should come under this month. Will deduct my overspend from my sept budget goal to try and recoup

Shops are closed, so time to declare. I am £5.76 under budget after weekend spends. Although in all likelihood this is more likely to be a small overspend as OH went to the market today and I have no idea what that came too.
Off over to September, hopefully it will be a bit livelier with the holidays now drawing to a close. We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
