Since 6th of June (my start date) i have had a NSD on Friday, Saturday i spent £10.18 in M*rrisons and yesterday i spent £21.19 in Asd*. A total of £31.37 of £325. I am going to try and aim to split the total into four weeks, so theoreticaally £82 odd a week. Still way too much to say i have been doing this a year now. Really would like to get it to £60 a week.find it a struggle with my daughter bein so fussy, i struggle to think of what to cook for us all. She eats the same thing repeatedly, and finding it very hard to give her some variation.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £89.90/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. If your daughter is happy eating the same thing repeatedly then I'd say just give her the same thing every day! As long as she's getting some protein, some fat, vitamins, carbs etc then she'll be fine.
I suspect that if you let her eat the same every day she'll eventually get fed up with it:rotfl: and want what you're eating!

Thanks Denise. She eats about enough meals to fill a week, maybe two at a push. She's been like this for years, despite me trying ( she's 11). She hates anything i eat, so i don't think she'll ever want to try my cuisineGC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £89.90/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Hey guys,
Just popping my head in to add £7.50 weeks shopping at Morrys on Friday and to "confess" a £4.50 spend in Aldi on Sunday. Last minute impromptu barbecues are great for the soul, but terrible on the budget!
Still, plenty in to get through this week and will just reduce Friday's shop to cover it.
Have a great week.

Honestly? Cook what your cooking and that's dinner. If it's only one element of your meal she doesn't like e.g. a particular veg then leave it out of hers. We have an 8 yr old who would moan at every meal and we got fed up so did just this. She now knows she eats what we eat or shes hungry (and will then eat it later)0 -
Hello all,
Just popping in. I have had a NSD yesterday, today I spent £16 on 45 toilet rolls and 6 triple size kitchen towels. I think they will last me a while! lol.
Made a HUGE batch of minestrone on Saturday so had some of this for lunch with hm roll. I have some (seen better days) mushrooms in the fridge so will cook these up with a red onion, wet garlic and courgette. All served with feta and beetroot cous cous, left over from Saturday's salad and pizza night.
Hope everyone has a great week.GC Jan £200/£200.78 Feb £250/£156.07

I don't know how many you cook for, but I would be tempted to batch cook her meals and freeze them in portions. Then cook your lovely varied meals for the rest of you and just dish her up one of her 'portions'. You could try putting just a taste of what you're eating on the side and say it's up to her and leave it like that. Maybe she genuinely doesn't like some things but maybe if you stop making any fuss about it she will start to join in eventually. Good luck with it.Hello all,

Had to ask - what is wet garlic please ?
I have had another NSD :j
Made a shepherd's pie from lo lamb joint (freezer) a few baked beans and lo mash pots, served with fresh carrots and runner beans (did myself and froze last month). Followed by blueberries, raspberries and fat-free yoghurt. Really good.
Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday

Hi lynnejk,
Wet Garlic is a very mild form of garlic and looks like a miniature leek, but you can't mistake that garlic smell! I use a whole wet garlic in place of 3 normal garlic cloves. I don't think you can get it in the sup3rmarke7s, I get it delivered in my veg box. Hth.GC Jan £200/£200.78 Feb £250/£156.07
