Hi, I would like to be in this month at £400 again. Family circumstance means the last couple of months I have lost track so determined to stay on track this month.
I have spent £100 so far but have bulging cupboards and a few things in the freezer. Only trouble is I have started slimming world and alot of the cupboard foods are now off limits .... Hmmmmm, pounds in purse or pounds on hips, that is the dilema?
Have a chicken in slow cooker - no idea what I am doing with it yet, maybe enchilada's for the family and jacket pots for me.

Hiya everyone :hello:
I'm going to have a busy week as my yoghurt maker has arrived and also my book - A Girl named Jack and another budget lunches book. I 'bought' them with Amazon vouchers from consumer panels so didn't actually cost me anything and should hopefully save me even more :money:
Had a lovely lunch today. Lo new potatoes, sliced onion, sliced tomato and some cooked peas and sweetcorn all cooked slowly in a little olive oil/butter/garlic, sprinkled with black pepper and chopped parsley from herb pots and served with cheese omelette with chopped chives from herb pots. Really scrummy :j
Eventually got round to making apple crumble so will have for tea when I get home from work with some yoghurt after my beans on toast
Hope you all have a thrifty Thursday

Another nsd here! Made four hm pizzas. One for dinner and three for the freezer! Yum! Although I messed up. Used my new breadmaker to make the dough. The instruction booklet is for two different models and I mis red it and put it on the speciality setting instead of piZa setting. So instead of it taking 45 Mins it was going to take 3 hours!!! So I turned it off at the rest stage and it was ok! Better than my normal hm pizza!!Grocery challenge-

Could you put me down for £100 this month please?
Just got my A Girl Called Jack book, too. That should help things.
Does anyone know the best place to buy reasonably strong black binliners cheaply? Just want to get it from the kitchen bin to the wheeley without it ripping.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £110.19/ £250
