Hi. There is going to be around 1 pound odd spend today as my daughter as a hospital appointment so by the time we get on the bus home etc will be late. Going to take snacks from the house for the kids to tie them over but don't want to be cooking when I get back so plan to bake some cheese & bacon pastries this afternoon and pick up a bag of chips from the chip shop and dish that up with the pastries once we get in. Quick and easy and saves time. I will update signature once I know how much the chips will be. Have a good weekend everyone.
Update- no spends today ( change of plan)'There are far better things ahead Than any we leave behind '0 -

Hi all, i'm back on the internet after a week with no Wifi. I had to dip out of the May thread as it spiralled a bit out of control, especially with the school hols and house-move. Now we are settled in and have freezer space, and there are no more holidays (except my DD1 finishes school next week after exams, so may be required to make more dinners) , so hoping to do a little better. Going to aim for £325 as haven't quite hit last month's target yet, and no planned spends at AF either, so fingers crossed. My month runs from 6th June to end of June. I will start doing the first of the month to last day of the month as of July, as our pay is going from monthly to weekly.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £76.30/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Thanks for all the suggestions for binliners. I'll try out HB and Ffoods (both of which I need to visit already).
I use carriers in my normal bins that don't leak but the kitchen one is big, saves the arthritic knees doing the outdoor steps too often.MAY GROCERY CHALLENGE £0/ £250

So I needed sausages for my toad-in-the-hole when I realised I'd used up my freezer stocks. I just popped into S'burys on the way home and got £10 of chipolata sausages for £4! There are 8 per pack but they are so long they're the equivalent of 2 skinny skinless sausages for every sausage so I'll chop them in half before freezing them so I get 48 instead of 24

Took mum to Mr T cos she doesn't drive, and I had coupons for a couple of things, and lots more ended up in the trolley  Think online shopping probably is best for me cos I do keep an eye on what I'm spending then!!MFW 2016 #32 £1574.66/£1500:j:j0
