    MKS have sent me a replacement reader for my current account but have sent me the reader for their Premier account. Bigger and came with ear phones. Brilliant!

    Ho hum, the switching team are apparently now 'so busy' that they can't take more applications to switch - i've been offered a callback on Friday afternoon, which is the earliest they can do it

    Most painful opening process ever...

    I was told the same yesterday, they offered me an appointment on Thursday. However I called back an hour later and was put straight through...so it's worth trying again if you don't want to wait until Friday. :)

    They told me the same, when I rang to confirm I wanted to switch (why do they do this!?). I told the CSA my attention span was very short and if they couldn't ring me back in the next 1/2 hour I would be closing the account. CSA offered to 'walk' over to the switching team and ask them to call me. And they did! :D

    I would be grateful if they`re that busy , if you wouldn't hassle them too much. Or at least until they completed my switch and send me my £100.

    Finally have the M&S current account up and running after 2x 20 minutes phone calls and agree on a switching date. Hate having to use the security key just to login....why cant they keep it simple like first direct who have introduced a security key but to use it only to add payees etc. Oh well, after getting the £100 voucher I will for once have a genuine reason to close the account...:cool:

    And, finally, after five weeks the £50 gift card turns up :beer:

    Account switchover should be in the next ten days, so almost there at last - blimey, it's a bit of a slog. :D

    For the last 4-5 days have been unable to get into my online account. Error message...pl ring 0845...

    My experience with M&S Bank has actually be quite swift so far... I applied on the 10th of June, I received card, welcome pack and pin within 7 days and now I have a switch date for the 1st of July. Hopefully it all goes smoothly! (Still not received my internet banking stuff mind! ;))
