Like I stated, I couldn't find it because I arrived in Todmorden about 3.30pm and I went to the main office first because I thought interviews were held in that office but when I turned up, a lady at reception told me its the warehouse we are having interviews and its about 15 min walk like I stated and she printed of directions for me, anyway I was looking for it and I asked some people on street that none of them heard of a Premier range and I was looking every where for it, and it was about 4.45pm when I gived up and went back to the main office and a man showed me how to get to the warehouse on street view on pc and at the time when he showed me on street view it was quite late and warehouse shuts at 5pm so I gave him my mobile number and he phoned me up this morning saying I can come to the interview this afternoon which I did, main thing is that I turned up and found it and had the interview.

Its not my fault if I didn't knew where it was, I am not from Todmorden and yesterday was the first time I ever been, not really good with standard maps.

    Of course it's your fault.

When I have an interview, I check out the location beforehand, arrive an hour early to check with reception if I have the right place, then walk to a cafe to wait. This way I know the journey time back, and can arrive just a few minutes before the interview.

Your attitude that it is not your fault is so unbelievable that you are probably only on here to wind people up. Genuine job seekers may read, though, hence my replying. If it is real, you have a bad enough attitude that you are probably permanently unemployable, and deliberately so.

I would not employ you. I would not waste the time finishing the interview with you, and I would never again use any agency that had sent you.

If someone had said that to an acquaintance's face, it is likely they would have got a good punch.

Of curse, they wouldn't have had the guts to say it in the real world.

    I would...

What does 'out of order' mean?

And what does calling it 'out of order' actually achieve?

FrillyTilly's post was factual. If you don't like the facts then have a go at the gay, not the messenger.

It was factual, and certainly not offensive, perhaps mattcanary is someone with little experience of the world!

How do you manage to get ahead in life with such a short fuse, and propensity to violence?

You come across as a thug with posts such as the above.

The interview I went today was the same interview yesterday because I went yesterday but couldn't find it so I went to the main office a bit further down (around 15 min walk from warehouse) to get a map and by the time I got to the place, the warehouse were shut (as Premier Range as 2 offices) one is show room and the other is a warehouse.

I applied for the warehouse position, any way I went today and it went quite well, the manager is going to let me know in a few days to see if I am successful :)

This is the Job by the way.

This is why you cannot get a job, you turn up for an interview a day late because you cannot find the place! Oh dear! Is it any wonder the job centre has sanctioned you!

I've called many people idiots over the years in person, usually it's taken with a pinch of salt, and at 42 I don't have a criminal record! :)

Not read it I'm afraid... but does this diagram explain it ?

    ImOK.jpg

Kind of but more to do with transactions/communication and how they become crossed. :)

Parent to child is a crossed transaction

    Adult to Adult is not

We all are all parent, child and adult all through our lifes and the challenge which isn't always easy is to be in our adult.

People often think they are in their adult when they are in their parent or child

Will have a look for a diagram but laptop is playing up so on mobile!

Many countries time limit availability to benefits, and what effect does it have on the crime rate? Zip, not a bit. Time limiting benefits acts as an incentive to find work, not some ridiculous justification to commit crime.

Like where, like the USA where there is one of the highest crime rates and prison populations in the world.
Where has it had no effect on crime rates? I know for a fact that when people are left with no money they often steal and commitother crimes to get by out of desperation.Obviously not everyone with no money at all does this as some people have a support network.

Please don't see that to any employer as it's unlikely they'll be sympathetic. They'll expect you to arrive in good time, especially if you are unfamiliar with an area. That way you can get directions and make sure you're not late.

I went for an interview last September and checked out the location on Google Maps. I was quite confident I'd find it in time. I arrived 45 minutes early just in case. It turns out Google Maps gives the wrong location and the place was two or three minutes walk away and quite hidden away. I did get there right on time in the end, with thanks to directions from reception, but didn't get the job. It wouldn't surprise me if this was partly due to this. But one must learn from it, accept I was wrong, and not do it again. Not say "well what do you expect, I've never been to place before".

It was Todmorden not LA, it's hardly a sprawling metropolis is it.
