Sorry but 1hr 15mins to not find something 15 mins away? You don't have an eye for details if you can't read a map surely.

If anyone ever suggests that it's never the fault of the unemployed person that they can't find a job, I direct them to one of the OP's threads.

It also comes in useful when I find myself asking if life is fair, if it's right that some people do so well, while others struggle to get by. A quick look at one of his posts reminds me that there is very often a good reason why people remain unemployed.

That thread is funny! Some chap has emailed Stonewall about it, but fails to realise the issue is not one of homophobia, it is one of professionalism. Employers don't appreciate silly email addresses, I would expect the JCP to take the same action against anyone that cannot comply with a simple request such as using a sensible address.

I do wonder how gg intends to take legal action against the JCP, given that he can't even afford to pay his CT bill!

What is "silly" about his email address?

For example, would "married_guy1986" be ok?

Or... if his email was "black_guy1986", would the job centre dare to advise him not to use it, in case an employer was racist?

To be clear, I think the OP shoots himself in the foot in 100 different ways, but in this one instance, I do think the job centre picking on his email address is wrong. That's if we have the full story and he is telling the truth, of course...
