Like I stated, I couldn't find it because I arrived in Todmorden about 3.30pm and I went to the main office first because I thought interviews were held in that office but when I turned up, a lady at reception told me its the warehouse we are having interviews and its about 15 min walk like I stated and she printed of directions for me, anyway I was looking for it and I asked some people on street that none of them heard of a Premier range and I was looking every where for it, and it was about 4.45pm when I gived up and went back to the main office and a man showed me how to get to the warehouse on street view on pc and at the time when he showed me on street view it was quite late and warehouse shuts at 5pm so I gave him my mobile number and he phoned me up this morning saying I can come to the interview this afternoon which I did, main thing is that I turned up and found it and had the interview.
Its not my fault if I didn't knew where it was, I am not from Todmorden and yesterday was the first time I ever been, not really good with standard maps.
Sorry but 1hr 15mins to not find something 15 mins away? You don't have an eye for details if you can't read a map surely.
Lucky they gave you another opportunity.0 -

If anyone ever suggests that it's never the fault of the unemployed person that they can't find a job, I direct them to one of the OP's threads.
It also comes in useful when I find myself asking if life is fair, if it's right that some people do so well, while others struggle to get by. A quick look at one of his posts reminds me that there is very often a good reason why people remain unemployed.0 -
And now they want to sanction you for 13 weeks... I wonder why!

That thread is funny! Some chap has emailed Stonewall about it, but fails to realise the issue is not one of homophobia, it is one of professionalism. Employers don't appreciate silly email addresses, I would expect the JCP to take the same action against anyone that cannot comply with a simple request such as using a sensible address.
I do wonder how gg intends to take legal action against the JCP, given that he can't even afford to pay his CT bill!0 -

What is "silly" about his email address?
For example, would "married_guy1986" be ok?
Or... if his email was "black_guy1986", would the job centre dare to advise him not to use it, in case an employer was racist?
To be clear, I think the OP shoots himself in the foot in 100 different ways, but in this one instance, I do think the job centre picking on his email address is wrong. That's if we have the full story and he is telling the truth, of course...0
