Sounds like a great weekend! I have a bit of a thing about scarves... I am yet to get a designer one, but I have bought too many in the past, which is a waste when I tend to wear 1/2 favourites most of the time. My new philosophy is to buy items I love and use them as often as possible. This means the cost per wear for even an expensive item would be less than for a £5 scarf I've worn twice!Rainy day fund — 210/1000 Emergency fund — 1019/1500

If its anything like the last one I bought - had it 4 years wore it nearly every day was £300 got in the sale for £125 and therefore I estimate its true value to be £0.10 a wear! haha x

So, DH pay is £600 less than last month! I think his tax was wrong last month plus no student loan plus he has now joined the pension (£85 net contribution for over £300 paid in its a no brainer!) but it means things are really tight for him this month. Currently he 'pays' he back £60 a month for his car insurance I paid in a lump sum for him (£642) but this month he can't afford too. Bit of a pain but just means I am doing my best to try and budget tighter this month.
Finally heard back about my PPI too. Its going in my favour! But now the royal scottish bank are saying because my details aren't up to date I have to visit a branch to confirm ID. Now, nearest one is 15 miles away, mission impossible to park near and only open 9:15-4:45 monday to friday... not a huge amount of use to me! What a nightmare.... never mind. I hope that the copies of documents I have sent will be sufficient but I cant wait to get that money back. Its not huge, only about £200 max but that means another months loan repayment (only 9 months left) covered. Perhaps I might even try to over pay it.
I also hope by next month I will have more in savings that debt!! Amazing and exciting.....
Hope you are all good? xx

Hi all from a very chilly South West.
This time last year I was just coming back from my honeymoon. I miss it. It was so lush. I would love to go and sit somewhere warm and relax on a beach even for a day or two.... Never mind!
Work is going well, enjoying meeting all the lovely people when I am out and about.
Hows everyone else doing?

Morning all
Had a disappointing weekend rugby etc and then no Glastonbury tickets. This is where I met my DH and we haven't been since we met in 2011. I do hope we can get some in the resale.
With this in mind we rushed out to our local Aldi to buy this £7 face
cream everyone as been raving about, I thought it would make a good present for mum- got her night day and special set. then I got myself a couple of tubs (I nearly NEARLY bought some £30 face cream when I got posh make up trial for my recent wedding but didn't so thought spending half that money would be more MSE) and then a few spare pots... Didn't know how popular it would be as our Aldi sold out in 10 minutes! So I spent £85 (weekly shop and face creams) but hopefully to get back c£30 in ebay sales from the spares. I know its not good to take advantage but when I can then get back the money I spent through selling a couple of the pots my MSE side won over my morals I am afraid.
Today is a NSD second of October, aiming for a 10 this month but with London etc who knows.
Nothing in post yet about PPI but trying to forget about it until I get the letter from the bank confirming it. Hope they might offer to just take it straight off my loan which is also with them then I won't be tempted to do anything else.
Hope everyone else had a fab weekend x

Today I feel all bloated and fat which is never a good way to start off the day! I had a fast day yesterday and did my 7 minute work out... never mind eh? Sure its just all the mountains of veg I have been eating.
MSE wise I have sold 2 pots of cream making c£20 profit after fees postage etc (havent posted either one just literally sold!) which covers the cost of my cream! Pleased with that.
Hows everyone else? Good I hope! xx

Fab money making Sparky!! I knew nothing about the creams or I would have done it myself!!
The bloat will just be water retention or something!
