Morning all
nothing to report from yesterday but fingers crossed I hear today - don't think it was bad news as the board meeting was yesterday and recruitment agent said she didnt expect to hear from them until today or tomorrow. So sorry to ask but cross fingers again for me todaY!! xx On a MSE note I had a meeting after work last night and normally I would be straight on the taxi as I cannot walk home late at night (bad area) however, I noticed I wasnt too far from the bus stop and that the bus drops me 2 mins walk away from my house so it took an extra half an hour but got a bus rather than taxi saving £5! x

hi all! So heard back. I need to have a phone call with another director and provide a business plan but they seem very keen which is good! The only issue would be that I would be taking a pay cut in basic salary... however, if I did well (which I am now) I could develop this and increase my earnings.... scary stuff! x

Dear all
Well your toes and fingers can be uncrossed I think!! I have been made an informal offer, and now asked them to formalise it… OMG!! Exciting However, it’s a £5,500 pay cut…. Although a far more structured bonus and if I had done as well as I have done here I could have had a £36,000 bonus this summer!
However, a little curve ball is that I have been for 2 interviews with a London office and I love them. They are amazing, such a great firm and they want to meet me for a drink on Friday afternoon for a final interview!! I spoke with the agent and she is pretty confident they will make me an offer too…
Well, its nice to be wanted but what a weekend I might have deciding between the two…
Hope everyone is good?? xxx

quick debt summary because well frankly why not?
£2,900 left on loan
£1,300 on 0% cards
total £4,200....
BUT have £3,000 in savings! Amazing!
Now, you may all think me mad to have this much in savings however, with a new rental deposit (c£1,300) and a months rent in advance (c£900) plus moving costs I need it to ensure we are solvent and dont need to put anything on credit. We also own very little furniture as london lets tend to be all furnished (even to the point of plates etc!) so need to buy lots of bits. So instead of paying off huge amounts of debt I'm trying to save as much as possible. As all card debt in on 0% seems to make sense as purchases soon won't be 0% plus you dont put your house deposit or rent on a credit card!
