Morning all

After a tough weekend I am trying to get back into the swing of MSE and work.

Whilst pondering on life, and how short it is we have made a huge decision and I feel so much happier having made it...
we want to move to the West Country.

London is not the city it once was, its dirty, creepy, busy and smelly... we cannot afford a decent house, in a good area and I cannot bring myself to imagine having a family here.

My DH comes from the West Country, I have family that grew up there. Its not too far from my home nor his and I think we could be very happy there...

Now the huge thing is finding a job or commuting to London (not ideal) and testing the water. I'm not happy at my firm at the moment but dont want to make a hasty decision that comes back to haunt me in the future. He can easily get another similar job - lower paid but lower costs. Mine should pay me more! (thats how underpaid I am in London) but I don't tell the recruiters that!

Cant wait to catch up on all your diaries - missed you all!

Dear all

So project West Country is go! impressively I've had over 30 recruitment agents and talking to people I’ve found a few that I am very keen on, its all very scary however, as I am making this huge choice. Hopefully debt free date will remain at end of this year but honestly I just need a better quality of life… so does DH. I believe that I can earn more, and have greater client relationships in the West Country. Plus I can visit beaches all the time! Happy days….

Ive had 5 NSDs, although I did have to buy a) more work shoes and b) help pay for a meal out on saturday.

hello all, having a really busy time at work but getting that I realyl have too much to do so cant be bothered to do anything kinda thing. I also bought treats (and apples!) costing £5 for the team since they a) bought me coffee and b) breakfast this morning not a bad spend.

Morning all,

Today is very exciting for 2 reasons.

Firstly, I get to have lunch out with a lovely client and secondly speaking to new people about jobs...

MSE wise had a fab mothers day and very MSE only spent £10 plus I got cheap train tickets using our rail card so all very great! xxx
