Hi Sparky.. shame about the bonus but £200 is better than a smack in the mouth with a wet sock.. and at least you get a bonus..!!! we are getting a one off payment of about £100.. this is to disguise the fact that the payrise they are giving us is so small we will be grateful for the one off payment..!!
Enjoy your last day in the office and then its time for r & r and fun with the family..

Hi all hope you all had a really great christmas!! It was such a busy time I didnt have time to post but i loved catching up with all your diaries.
I've had a few MSE things, firstly I applied for the new b.c. 35 month balance tv but only got an £800 limit so I will shuffle these around and ensure I make the most - so annoying I cannot move all of my huge 29.9% scottish bank cc balance - however this all helps with the snow balling.
apart from that nothing exciting to report - was given lots of lovely Christmas presents no money but never mind.
Catch up again soon! x

Hi all
Right so my MSE latest...
new 123 card had a 0% balance transfer offer of 23 months now. However this started after I applied so I rang to complain and they offered it too me! That means after paying off my other card I will only have this and my other 0% credit cards! Then its just the loan which i need to try and over pay. This is amazing, I am SO happy!! I pay £60 a month interest on this balance and it will make a massive difference.
So, I have so far not spent in the sales ( I need a new pair of boots really and some work shoes though!) and I normally would buy loads. SO moving forward I hope it be debt free ASAP! Who knows?! I need to sort over paying this loan though... Any ideas?? Its the scottish bank saved by the Gov'ment ??

Morning all just a quick update - I've sorted the balance transfer (NO FEE!!) and that should be showing by Thursday. This is also the day that I pay off my other credit card and once the balance transfer has been sorted I will arrange to go and see the bank that holds my loan and see if I can pay this off early or what my options are. I think that its amazing in such a short time I have managed to pay off most of my debt, and move most of the rest onto 0%. After the latest round of balance tv etc I think my debt will be c£5650 down from £16,000ish (£15,000 really when I had my lightbulb moment) this time last year. Pretty amazing!! Just shows you what you can do when you put your mind to it...
I will also be saving into my 123 account as it pays 1% on over £1,000 2% over £2,000 and 3% over £3,000 so worth it before I pay off the 0%.
we also have been talking about our holidays this year. Italy in the spring which mum is paying for the flights as our christmas present and its her house so just spending money (most of which she wont let me pay for anyhow so prob just £100 max). Next is spain which flights are £90 each (£40 already paid) and car hire FIL paid for the house we are renting plus spending. These are really not extravagant holidays but I still feel bad about them even though they are small treats....
Thanks for everyones help and support it means so much x
