So MIL is in a right old pickle and wont help herself. Would rather stay with an abusive man never see her kids and continue the cycle as she has done for years with different men. So sad.
Never mind! I have now paid off so much debt I almost am not sure what to do with myself!! Its such a great feeling. Plus with a tiny bit of my bonus I have bought a replacement watch. Mine broke in the fire, and although I was given insurance money to replace it (only £50) I used to towards debt and stuff. So I ordered a £20 nice one from ebay. Although I was debating this as my Dad has promised me an iwatch for my birthday next year!!
Also, had work drinks last night (amazing place!!) and they paid for everything and food. But I had to get a taxi home as I was worried about how much I had drunk and getting a bus in the pouring rain but thsi was only £10 and since I hadnt paid anything else I thought this was reasonable night out costs! Thursday my dad is also going to take us out for dinner which will be nice.
Anyhow hope you are all good! xx

So debt free ways continue. Although I did treat myself to a free starbucks coffee but the breakfast muffin wasn't! £1.59. but I am feelings pretty ill, nasty cold and have busy old day. I know I shouldnt but it was SO scrummy.
Never mind, this weekend I am off to see my great auntie and uncle which I cant wait for. Although its £20 train (and I take wine and flowers - I have some wine I am not a fan off already in stock and flowers will be £2.99 from morrisons) they often give me £20 back for my train and enough food to sink an army!! They also take me out for a lovely lunch etc. So though I would rather not spend £20, its such a lovely time.
Tomorrow BIL is coming over and I need to swap some bits in the cheap shop with the paper bags beginning with P! The shoes are great just a bit massive. Unusual for me....
Hope you are all good? xxx

Hello all
lovely weekend - apart from the rain!
However, MSE news.
Yesterday I had a late meeting and one of the Directors asked how I was getting on with my debt and I just burst into tears!! He was expecting me to be all happy and yes I am paying it off etc. Think it was 12 hours in the office, but i said of course I am paid off loads!! Bless him I am sure he didnt need that!
However, it does make me think.
I also have applied for our joint account to be a 1/2/3 with the Spanish bank, along with a credit card again both for cash back. However, even with a £3,400 limit I will not be doing unnecessary spending, even if it does have an 18 month interest free on purchases reward!! ( great offer but I just want to ensure its not another horror story.)
Anyhow any advice on this card etc let me know! Hope you are all good

Dear all
Hope everyone is enjoying life? I don't mind this time of year. Its chilly but you don't have to shave your legs all the time and I can cover up my horrid arms without excuses as to why I am doing it!!
As for my MSE ways, firstly I got £10 amazon voucher through swagbucks and have another £3 in there so will sort more crimbo presents from there.
As for NSE - I seem to constantly need things such as pain killers etc so none so far - will try harder for later in the month.
anyhow hope you are all good.xxx

Ello everyone!!
So this lunch time I have my first catch up on my debts meeting, I really hope it goes well I have tried so hard.
After my next pay day I will be only c£6,250 in debt with only my loan and big CC left!!!
I have got myself this 123 credit card which does have a c£300 balance from our spending but I have the money aside already to pay off in full via direct debit. The cash back is amazing! we will be getting c£15 a month for just using it! However I will be careful not to get too into the habit of usingg for none cash back stuff.
Other half has had his credit limit from B/card reduced. This really upset him - not sure why. xxxx

Morning all
So I have a confession. I spent loads of money at the weekend. I bought 3 new dresses (will take one back), a voucher and some bits in the charity shop.... But all out of savings but still naughty. Its because its Christmas time and we have so much on I want to feel slim (as I have lost weight) and pretty, and I very rarely buy new non work clothes. I feel guilty but its also helping me save money by sticking more to the 5:2 ( and therefore eating less) and makes me happy to think of new dresses (although one is from ebay but whistles so very expensive make but lot less on there!!)....
Anyhow apart from that a cheapo weekend as mum wouldnt let me buy anything (I had some wine in stock that i took) and ended up taking loads of food back with me.. plus Dad took us out for lunch sunday.
Right I have to keep on it with the weight loss wish me luck with that... Its so hard sometimes!! (well that and the debt busting too!! hahaha!!)
