  • Thanks all - got my expenses in today straight into the savings account to pay the full amount of new CC (done for cash back!! Already got £13 back from spends that we cannot help such as travel and my expenses!).

I need to buy last few chrimbo presents but had very little food spend this week as last week had a (golly wait for it) £83 sbury's shop!! Included some presents and booze on offer but have made it last and will just top up at the market for fruit and veg at the weekend.

thanks for reading and have a great weekend all :) xxx

  • hello all been a mental week this week so busy! but not too bad spend wise I had to get a taxi monday that was only £8.32 and since tube and bus would have been £5.20 I think thats a bargain! Also, because we have been out and busy food spend is very low so used that to top up christmas shopping.

I had a 'review' thing at work regarding my christmas bonus, a whole £200 before tax!! They said although I work hard I talk therefore no one thinks I do any work. Great. Cheers! I was so upset but tried very hard to take it well and understand - inside I am fuming. never mind work hard and you shall be rewarded they say!

hope you are all well x

  • Hi Sparky, sorry to hear you sounding disappointed about your bonus - were you expecting a lot more? Was it performance based? If so, how can they say on one hand that you do work hard but on the other everyone *thinks* you don't do anything therefore you are penalised??!! Surely fact should win over assumption.

    Hugs Xx

  • Thanks lucky - I was told it was that with another zero on the end!!

I think they call it perception that I dont work hard? I am very bubbly and happy and take a real interest in peoples lives (hence why I love being an IFA) and they say that shows I dont focus. I still complete the work, do the hours and produce the income just in my own way.

Never mind! I am still lucky to have an amazing job and bonus even if its small. I am off for a half day for a christmas treat - all paid for by someone else! Steak wine and salted caramel! yay!! x
