    closed : 6 st overweight and eating too little that cause other complications are both not healthy..what I am trying to achieve is a balance between two..

    i had health problems (low iron) last year when I went on diet, so I want to make sure i eat the right things at the right time in the right amount.

    I am sure with options given by you all here I will get there

    Cutting things out is the reason I've given up in the past

    Oh and I'm not just losing 0.8lbs in a month

    What your diet seems to be missing is fruit and vegetables - 5+ a day. Or looked at another way about half by volume of what you eat should be fruit and veg.

    Carrot sticks make nice snacks. For something more substantial you could have various veg sticks with a hummus dip.

    With all due respect Tink, you have a thread running entitled anyone else on a diet and struggling, have mentioned that you lost 0.8 pounds in 4 weeks, and you're advising the op. Congratulations on losing what you have, it's not easy, but if you want to continue losing, you may need to ratchet things up a little. the first stone is easy, the second not quite as easy

    one thing i noted i drink very less water...hardly 2-3 glasses....need to ramp that up
