Hello Friends,
I have been trying to loose weight but been un-succesfull, it's time for me to put before you what I am eating and how can I change it, so thinking of updating my food diary here and asking for alternatives which will still feed me but will have less calories.
I will also start to do some light excercise (walking) soon but first want to know what I am eating...kind of
"I want you to judge If I am a secret eater"
I will honestly try to upate my diary every day.
any help suggestions greatly welcome
thanks

Looks like a lot of calories coming from sweet snacks and drinks. Is that because you have a sweet tooth (like me) or because you're hungry. If the latter maybe change your main meal content. Porridge is good for breakfast and not too high in calories. Lunches try soups and salads. Dinner to keep calories lower I often cut out the carbs so fish with green beans but no potato. Vegetables are low calorie generally. If you eat 2500 at the moment, if you drop to 1500 you'll soon see a difference. My Fitness Pal is good for calorie tracking. Exercise is good but light walking wont burn that much but once you're finding that easy you can try walking faster and up hills.0

thanks
actually i don't have much of a sweet tooth but i feel hungry and because of no other food options i end up snacking on sweets.
I am not much of a fish eater so will have to find other options : shredded chicken/veg wrap?
I am m/35, going down from 2500 to 1500 looks like a lot to me, but i will try0 -
Looking at your diet, I'd say you're eating a lot of carbs like bread and pizza.... I think your calorie counts might be a little off the mark though. Do you weigh everything and work out calories from the weight? Your drinks calories - are you including milk in the calorie amounts, as tea without milk is 0 calories. I suspect the sugar you put in them mounts up too, can you try sweeteners?
Is the bread you have for breakfast from a small (400g) loaf or a large one? I think a slice from a large loaf is more like 80 calories. Butter brioche rolls will have fat in them so might be more than 125 calories.
If you swapped them for a banana as a snack, and ate more fruit you'd keep the calories down whilst filling up.
I think you're underestimating calories on the cheese as well: average cheddar is 413 cals per 100g and 34g fat!
I have been going to slimming world for 6 months and have lost nearly 2 1/2 stone, and that is eating as much meat, fish, eggs as I want, plus all veg and fruit, rice and pasta. The only things I have to weigh and measure are dairy (milk, cheese) and carbs like bread and breakfast cereal. There's no forbidden foods, if they're not free foods they are 'synned' and as long as you count these and keep within 15 a day you will lose weight. You don't have to join a club, you can join online. I am never hungry, and no-one can believe how much I can eat and lose weight on it. No calorie counting either!
Hope this helps, and good luck xxxKeep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

If you must have chocolate - try a Curly Wurly - about 100cals I think.
You don't seem to have meals, it looks like a daylong food-fest!!0 -

yes PasturesNew, that is my worry, i really felt hungry very soon after breakfast, i will try boiled eggs, i somehow not fan of cheese and can eat very less cheese variety so that's kinda good
other is to have proper meals, today was more of a weekend, hopefully in office i will maintain proper meal.

2 sugars in tea.., bars of chocolate, lumps of cheese, multiple butter brioche rolls, pizza, milky coffee with 5 teaspoons of sugar before bed
you won't lose weight eating high calorie food.
if you want to lose it fast, you need to be nearer 1000 a day than 2500+ - the likelihood is the 2535 is an underestimate.!!

ya need to cut down on these, but want to do in a sustained way..going to 1000 from 2500 will have to be gradual + create a calorie deficit by excercise0 -
Seachange often works better than gradual - because you see results faster and want to carry on.
if you expect to create a calorie deficit by exercise you'll be waiting a long time. You'll have to do a half marathon distance every day just to offset the milky coffee - there's about 12G of sugar content in the milk naturally, so you're effectively eating 8 teaspoons of sugar in one drink.
The problem isn't what's going out, the process of living does most of the out, unless you're an athlete.
You're eating too many times/calories/sweet things
1000-1500 calories a day is easy after the first few days, and works.
Cutting out all those sugars in drinks is a start, after a month of cutting it out, 5 sugars in a drink will taste revolting. A 300 cal bar of chocolate a day is the equivalent of more than 2st of fat pa.!!
