thanks guys...i have been able to sustain today but i think i may have gone overboard..will see how much i have ended up eating..

cjj - a stone in a month is massive, gr8

Thankyou. I guesss what I was trying to say was I didn't particularly have much to lose, so if you do it should come off easier. My diet was so similar to yours and I feel the key to my loss was lowering carbs. The excercise is a great boost too. As you see results it gives much motivation and I no longer feel hunger like I thought I did. Hop that makes sense.
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

If I were you, I would:

Eat the yolk for breakfast; swap the Go Ahead apple slices with a pair of crackers, lightly buttered; investigate into eating a tub of hummous with your white baton for lunch; possible swap some of the constant snacking with just a mug of tea. It might be habit more than hunger.

sugar free gums contain Sorbitol which is not good...i will try sticking to Mug of Tea only.

In terms of nutrition what else I am missing I feel I am still leving lot of good calories out....Meat (Red ? , Liver ?), Oats,

    Rice ?

Maybe you could have a look on Tink2's thread, some good advice in there from numerous posters.

Oatcakes are good for a snack, almonds are as well, sweet potatoes are very good for you also.

Home made soup is excellent for filling you up (I know some people dont agree, but if you like soup, its worth investing in a hand blender, you can get them in supermarkets for about 7 quid and giving it a go).

Do you like peanut or almond butter? Hope it all goes really well for you, good luck.

Green tea, maybe a mug of miso soup now and then. If you like tortilla wraps you can fill them with some lovely low cal fillings.

    how overweight are you

8 or 9 eating events per days is way ott, apart from drinks, it should be 3 max

not good for what, the runs?

if you eat meat, just have normal meals, chicken/fish/meat/eggs and 2 veg etc, and cut out the snacks completely. If you're a few stone overweight, losing one in a month is easy once you set your mind to it, but not if you go the faddy route .

green tea and peanuts aren't a cure, the latter is full of calories.
