Aw......thank you for still posting on my distraught thread!
All the replies I received really uplifted me...........and I am embarassed at how 'sorry for myself' I came across as.
I don't feel as low as I was that weekend. I suppose I never actually meant I would commit suicide, I just meant that I was SO tired of the struggle. That wouldn't just be the debts, it is the whole responsibility thing too. 10 years is a long time to live without a partner or someone to lean on, and now I have depression I often think who'd want me now anyway!! Lol!
But on a positive note, since my thread, I have taken my mobile down from £25 per month to £7.50! I have bought a chest freezer and am bulk buying and batch cooking meals. (Buying loads of Value stuff) I also have bought a dog clipping set so won't have to pay £18 every 6 weeks for the dogs haircut!!! The one thing I need to sort next is the phone rental/calls/internet, but I am worried about horror stores of downtime. I am with BT(£15 a month line rental), make about £9 a month of calls (thru talk talk), and pay £18 to Tesco for internet. (Can't do without internet.......its my life line!!)
Still pursuing First Plus over the PPI, might have to appeal, if that doesn't work, then might take advice whether the PPI was in fact wrongly sold then.
Wrote to all the CC companies I had empty cards with, only got one reply, but managed to move £9K to Alliance& Leicester for 6 months at 2.9%. (They don't do LOB.)
I haven't put much on here recently as I read a few threads of people having a go at single parents and I just couldn't cope with that, so have just lurked and read posts instead.
Still can't sell the house, had two viewings recently but maybe its just not meant to be?
Anyway thanks again for your responses, its truly uplifting to know there are such kind people out there.

I am in a similar situation, but LIFE IS ALWAYS WORTH LIVING.| You have two children who need you and love you, like myself. Things can go pear shaped but stay positive, as my mum says it will all come out in the wash (whatever the hell that means!) Stay strong xHave agreed figures with all creditors and am now DEBT FREE
:j July 2012. Never going back there again!!

I can't recommend Tiscali enough. They have internet, line rental and calls included for about £30.00 per month.
Go through quidco for cash back too.Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
