    How are you feeling today?

This is the great thing about MSE - a real community. We should be really proud to be a part of it.

I do hope, Scorpio Lady, that you managed a good night's sleep. Do post again and become part of this wonderful crowd who seem to be able to pull people through anything!!

Good morning Scorpio Lady  ,

The sun is out in Swindon and I hope that it is wherever you are.

Now that you've (hopefully) had a reasonable night's sleep after a few replies from people on here, you may be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I've not had to use them but maybe it's worth giving Payplan a call to see what they advise when you are ready.

    Have a lovely Sunday

    Good morning everyone

I am just bowled over by everyone's kindness, and to even post this morning to ask how I am! Thank you all SO much.

You have all pointed out such invaluable points to me, its like the post-it note scenario............I suppose I need the reminders of the good job I have already done to date.

I have just spent the last hour chatting in bed with the children and they haven't a clue of my inner turmoil. They are happy, articulate, polite, kind, children, good at school and popular with their friends, we are a very close little unit. And I know that if they could read my thoughts they'd be devasted! I must keep reminding myself ................... it is ONLY MONEY (get the post-it notes out).

I would like to PM some of the posters later on if that is ok, but now I need to get on and fix the up and over garage door that won't close, been worried all night as had to leave it open!

I feel a new inner strength today as suddenly I have a 'shedful' of new supportive friends. Thank you one and all for taking the time and care to help me.
    xx

    Hi Scorpio,

It's nice to see you a bit more positive today.

I don't know if anyone has suggested this but I have a feeling that if you are housebound the CAB will do a home visit. It might be worth checking into.

Good luck with being a DFW, you will have up and down days but if you come on here the good people will soon pick you up off the floor, they are a great bunch.

Hello. I read your original post within a short time of you posting it at 7.30pm. It affected me so much, yet I could not think of one word to say that would have helped. My concern was that your post would go un-noticed. I searched the site for a sort of panic button because I could feel the desperation in your words. Eventually I hit the abuse button, out of sheer panic myself for you. I sort of hoped it would bring a moderator running. Nothing happened as far as I know, so I did a PM to a moderator I've had assistance from myself, (but for nothing like this).

Came the dawn and it looks as though there are many people who are offering wise words of comfort, and hopefully guidence. I say hopefully because I can't bring myself to read them.

I shall continue to follow this through, in the hope that gradaully step by step, each of the issues are addressed. Clearly nothing will happen overnight, but a few weeks down the line and I am sure you will be on the road to eliminating a few of the worries.

PS, if the pressing of the abuse button created problems, then I'm sorry, but I couldn't have read the post and done nothing.

  • Hi,

Just checking in to see how you're feeling today...but I see from your earlier post that you're feeling more positive which is great. You say you have a new found inner strength today...and you know what, hon, it shows in your post...well done you!!:T :T

Just take it easy, one day at a time, or minute to minute if that's what it takes... and remember, there's always someone on here who will be more than happy to have a good old natter and give you space just to have a bit of a rant, a cry or a laugh (depending on how you feel)...but it won't be long before there's more laughing than crying...trust me!

    Speak later,

    Midnight x

PS. I'm normally on here most nights between 10 and midnight (hence the name :o ) and I know that sometimes things can seem so much worse at night, so if you ever need to chat feel free to PM me..x

    Hi Scorpio Lady

Pleased to hear you are feeling better!

Can I just say please call your local CAB anyway! If you are a case in need (and in my opinion you are!) then they will make a home visit if neccessary :)

Either that or they can ask you to fill out a third party mandate so that they can discuss your debts with your creditors on a one to one basis. If you are on incapacity benefit then you probably are entitled to see the legal service commission advisor free of charge who will be able to sort First Plus out!!

Good luck on your journey, remember that you are a fantastic person, and that you have earnt the right to be happy.

PM me if I can help
