Who cares what 'a Brit' would enjoy? What do you think HE would enjoy? He is a person, not just a nationality, and you know him, we don't!!!
The reason why I asked if a Brit would enjoy it is because of the standard of British comedy compared to American and I didn't want to pick a movie with humor he would find dull. British comedy is the best in the world. I watch it all, from Monty Python to The inbetweeners. My friend from England sent me DVD's of an old British sitcom called Only Fools and Horses and I have never laughed so much in my life. This character called Trigger makes me almost wet my pants with laughter. His acting is incredible and the conviction in which he delivers his punch lines is second to none. "Look after your broom" :rotfl:

If you looked through my perspective, you will see why I asked if a Brit would enjoy it.

So guys... Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you all. My line was down for maintenance.

The movie was not that bad and we both enjoyed it. Afterwards we went for some food and talked for most of the night. He then offered to walk me home, which I duly accepted :o. I've never been walked home by a guy before and it made me feel so special! When we got back to mine, we said our good night's and he gave me a hug!! I should've kissed him, I think I could've kissed him but I was too scared to make a move on him. That was my moment but I think there will be another one soon because we are going out again Thursday night and again Saturday. This time he asked me :D.

I think he likes me, I hope he does anyway. Watch this space!

Enjoy your day all you wonderful people, it's a pleasure coming here and reading all your messages and advice .

If you like Trigger (he's amazing!) then check out The Vicar of Dibley, it's also one of the biggest British sitcoms and features the same actor than plays trig.
