Alpharooms mess up yet again

Thanks photome, hoof hearted, Annabee and Mothballs Wallet. Yes I tried solmelia for my original booking - even emailed the hotel direct to ask what happened to my booking! - and they just say Alpharooms made a stop sales error and they have no booking for me. And no availability either.
It's not availlable anywhere else so will just have to find something else sharpish.
Feel really stressed out now though.0 -
Oh dear zaksmum, that's really rubbish. Can't think of anything to suggest, except maybe the local Tourist Information Office, which may have places not listed on these big booking sites? Hope you end up with something suitable soon.
EDIT: on rereading your OP more carefully, I see that you are heading abroad, so not sure what the local equivalent would be.0 -

Yes, going to Benidorm. There's a lot of accommodation still available but a much of it is the kind of place you'd never want to stay anyway, perhaps more suited to the stags and hens guests.
We're both over 60 and I'm disabled so wanted somewhere half decent at least. I had even emailed the hotel to ask for a lower floor and they responded that they had taken note of our needs and will do their best for us. No mention of the fact they had not actually processed our booking.
Guess I'll just have to keep trying to find somewhere.
Alpharooms have really let me down about this. They are just not interested.0 -

No Mary. Will check them out now. Thanks
Feel totally exhausted by all this and getting a killer headache now. Can't believe Alpharooms have dropped me in it like this.:(0 -
Have you tried posting on the overseas holidays board? Someone might be able to offer advice as to which is a good alternative hotel.0

Even though I hate the adverts, I normally go through Trivago.0

What a farce! I hope you find somewhere suitable x0

That's probably the most useless bit of company repping I've ever seen, and quite frankly I won't be touching them with a bargepole in future.
Quite thankful I've seen this as Alpharooms were one of the websites I was looking at this week with regards to booking our summer holidays...0
