Thank You this weeks thread Dusty and Thanks Natty/Bossy for last weeks
I didn't finish the list last week so I am going to make a better effort to finish things each day this week as I have family visiting on Saturday. I didn't doing any flying yesterday as I was at work so hoping I can do better this week as it's a shorter one and I want house tidy especially for Saturday! I decided to throw myself out the back door yesterday though and have a fish gill type wound on thumb so some cleaning is going to be painful!

Hola flyladies :hello:
Just back from the paid stuff with my least favourite customer -- she's actually a lovely lady but is so pernickety, every item of furniture has to be pulled out and dusted/vacced behind and under, every picture has to be taken off the wall to be dusted behind, every millimetre of tile needs to be scrubbed and shined… the list goes on. I only get three rooms done in three hours and that me working flat out the whole time. Anyway, I'm done there for the next four weeks
Lounge isn't too shabby, gave it a good deep dust on Saturday so a quick flick should be enough today. I haven't forgotten about DS2 vacuuming the sofa so he'll do that at 4. Dinner is prepped for the boys and DH but I appear to have forgotten about myselfso I need to rummage in the freezer.
Quick coffee then I'm cracking on!0 -
Hi all
Sorry for going AWOL yesterday; we caught up with some late weekend tasks and did a fair bit in the garden, after which I was just too tired to bother with the computer, tbh.
Mumto5 Coco is absolutely beautiful; I'm sure with lots of love and reassurance, she'll turn into a fantastic family member.:o
Today I've done a jeans wash (put on the timer to be ready when we got up) and hand-washed one of my tops, one that runs better than Usain Bolt so has to be washed on its own (I have far too many skirts and tops like that - my own fault fo favouring Indian cotton stuff).
All that remains to do in the lounge is the dusting (still can't persuade the dragons to flap their wings and lift themselves, Ionafan):D so will do that in a bit; I managed to drag the sofa out yesterday - there was a line of dog hair and other miscellaneous grot just underneath (hangs head in shame) and a few tufts of Patsy-hair behind it - she likes to crawl behind the sofa and snooze.:o
I also took a call from the franchisee with SIX new bookings - first one is for this weekend, so Jasper the Cocker Spaniel will be here about 11:30 Friday.:T
I shall also be having (later on) Daisy the Shiba Inu (her 2nd stay here), Ted the Border Terrier (an old pal), my mate Jessie (twice), and a pair who are new to me - Ellie the Lhasa Apso and Coco the Chorkie (that's a Chihuahua/Yorkie cross, apparently).:T:T:T
Further news re Mr LW - he has taken the decision to have his hernia sorted out, but will wait til after our holiday (we're away 9th-16th June). He has a health plan at work he can use, so hopefully he'll have control of the situation, as far as is possible.
Our new lawnmower has just been delivered; the old one is on it's last legs, and it's doubtful if it'll last much longer, so we've opted for a very lightweight one on wheels, and with a roller at the back - electric, as that's Mr LW's preferred type - in the hope that if I'm careful, and only try it on my better days, I will be able to use it.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Afternoon
Had a late lunch (1pm) as I decided to do the brass and wash down the front door at 12 :rotfl: Unfortunatley I managed to get bleach on my tshirt so thats in water and hopefully not too much damage. But if needs be I can get some dye and after some bleach on the whole thing to even it out, make it another colour, just not the pale pink its currently goneHaving said that, I need to get some dye for one of my sweatshirts and some jeans....I see a trip to the chandlers heading my way soon
Then I've spent the afternoon sorting out books followed by either doing accounts or hanging out washing. My brain won't take much more so I'm going to stop proper paid work for the day but I'll deal with surveys etc later when DD has gone to bed. Just having a coffee in relative peace while the cleaning cloths have a good rinse in the WM before I wash them

Hi
Been home and whizzed round what I could. DS asked me to collect them from club after 5 so he could play a bit longermy guess is they will be shattered  he was awake before me, and I was in the office at 6.30!
WFH tomorrow. We can have 1 day per week and since I didn't technically use it yesterday, it will save me a days parking money! I'm #132 on the parking permit list (of about 680, lol) so I might get one in another year or so, haha.
Will be an early night for us I should think tonight...Bossymoo

Hi all,
Been quite busy again today, hoovered and dusted lounge, wiped skirting boards down- were filthy :-/ then been playing in the garden with ds, managed to get some sedums planted and had a dig around at the weeds and ds helped me water all the plants. Oh and 2 loads of washing on the line nice and dry just need to bring it in later! Phew.0
