Morning all. I'm another one who's glad its the LR today as it needs a thorough clean. So I'll do that, then get dressed, walk the dogs via the shops and then start on the paid stuff.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all
Welcome all newbies and hello to returners.
Wow Ionafan - how long did you say it had taken - since last summer - brill! Did you do it yourself or follow a plan? I have "quite a bit" to lose interspersed with a one week AI holiday which I am not going to skimp on IYKWIM!!!!!
Plan for this am is
finish bathroom
shower
HHE then get weighed.
Followed by
lunch
HHI
Shopping for a few missing bits
HHC - probably at 14:00 - if anyone cares to join me?
Then:
very important phone calls
bill payment
HHgardening
That should be me for the day.
Off plan atm as other things on mind that need to take precedence.
Hope everyone is OK - we are due rain on Thursday for the following 10 days:eek: so desperate to get garden up to scratch before then.
Hugs sticks and spoons where needed.
BTW - didn't manage to pack in from Vol job 1 yesterday- adaptations made.

Morning all.
Been up since 6.15 which is almost unheard of :rotfl: Wash load out on the line, bins emptied again (bin day today), numerous snails rehomed away from my plants, HHI done (DD's uniform and some extras), WM just finished, DD gone to school and I'm just having some breakfast then I'm going to go put some bleach and boiling water in the wheelie bins as they stink. Hoping I can have another really productive day today, the house needs it
Oh well, going to finish this coffee and get on. Laters :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Glad you managed to get dd off on time Nicki x
4th wash is in the wm
Bathroom S&s done
MBR dusted
Boys decluttered to school
Need to synchronise diary & calendar
Hair appointment 11am then zumba. It would have been better if it was other way around.
Need to get the house decluttered by 25th May as DH's sister & young family are due to visit.0 -
Thank you for the thread Dusty. I'm in this week.
We had a day at home yesterday. DH and I tackled the utility room which is looking like something Anthea Turner would by happy with now. The lawn was minced by DH and I spent 3 hours emptying my ironing basket.
We have a new family member. Coco is a delightful doggy addition to our family. We have had her from last Sunday and she is making herself at home. She's a bit stressed and has some nervous issues but we are working on them. She is pictured here with DD2.0 -
Have been out in the garden seeding the bare patches on the lawn and sprinkling cat repellent on the front garden
SW and curtain making for the rest of today!
Special thoughts for you and your DD2, pigpen x

Back again!
Another wash load on the line, somebodies cat who is after the sparrows/magpies chased at least twice now, dailies done except in the kitchen, bathroom scrubbed including round the taps with a toothbrush, edge of the bath panel currently soaking in cleaner as its filthy, pavement out front swept as I was sick of the muck that had collected under the wheelie bin, both wheelie bins now soaking in boiling water & bleach, just about to put the next wash on then wash some dishes before having a break at 11am for a coffee and a slice of cake
I've decided it time to put housework first instead of work or projects as the house is looking sorry for itself. I'm self employed and should be working part-time hours but I do more than that some weeks and nowhere near it others! My plan is to do housework every morning until 12.15, have lunch/catch up with TV until 1pm then work until 4pm when DD gets home 4 days a week, then Thursdays (and Wednesday every 3 weeks) I'll do a full day (9-12.15, 1-4, 6-8/9 except on the Wednesdays) of work. This doesn't include 'over-time' where I go and see one customer for maybe 10mins here and there. Hopefully I can up my income this way by getting on top of surveys, writing, blogging etc instead of spending days at a time doing it and leaving the house to its own devises and resorting to take-away for evening meals
Right, best get moving. I have 25 mins to finish these jobs downstairs! :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
