It sure doesn't feel like we have had a long weekend.
Going to get DS3 to bed and then a quick HH of bits before hitting the sack myself. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Fizz: if the dress was made by someone rather than bought, and if there are offcuts, it should be possible to make a tie... and matching hanky

DSS's "date" -- "we're just friends, she's NOT my girlfriend!"-- does indeed have some fabric to spare, but to my horribly untrained eye it appears to be some sort of sheer, meshy silky fabric; certainly not something I have seen a tie made from before. We looked in debenhams, selfridges, house of fraser, next, slaters, t m lewin and every other menswear retailers in between and there was nothing even close. The fabric is a sort of sagey green colour, and his suit is black. Thankyou for the kind offer of assistance, if we have no luck turning up anything suitable I'll drop you a PM

Evening!
Welcome and welcome back to everyone joining!
Ionafan you and Mr I have done amazing with your weightlosses! :T MIL has challenged me to "sticking to something for a week" as we both seem to get fed up a few days in. We are starting tomorrow. We all had fish n chips tonight :rotfl:
Very little done here, really, littlies have had loads of fresh air and exercise this weekend. They practically fell into bed tonight. They've been much nicer to be around today
So other than clean up after dinner, all I've done is get the bikes etc put away and get school clothes and bags ready for morning. I'm away early so inlaws are staying to get them off to school.
Right, that is me for tonight as my alarm will be whirring before I know it, and my hair is still wet!
Night all (might not be around much tomorrow)

Good evening
I am in this week, sort of! Thanks Dusty for the lists, and Natty & Bossy for last week.
We have had a fairly productive day. Big shop done. Also bought 2 folders that I needed. Some plants have been planted (that we bought at the garden show yesterday), and DH has also weeded. 1 load of washing done & dried. I have also moved all the furniture in the LR, thoroughly vac'd then vax'd the carpet, and put it all back. I did the DR & hall on Saturday. Hopefully the bubba's knees won't look so grubby when he goes home tomorrow! (he will probably start to walk everywhere now I have cleaned the carpets!)
Hopefully the dog will have a better night's sleep tonight. He has a fear of flies and I think there was one buzzing around upstairs last night! We looked in town for some sort of fly killer that we can just leave on a shelf to work its magic, but couldn't find any. We could only find fly spray & fly paper. I will have to order some online. You wouldn't believe how stressed the stupid dog gets when there is a fly in the room!!
I still have a mountain of paperwork to do, and I am determined to not get behind on my study for this (last!) module. Busy day again tomorrow. Only 4 more days 'til the weekend!
Hugs, sticks & spoons where needed. night night all0 -
Few bits done today and a little more decluttering.
So pleased the tube strike has been called off as I have a course in London on Weds and it was looking as though I would be on the 5:45 train!! Now I can get one nearer 7:00.

Evening
Well done ionafan that's quite an achievement 5 sizes.
Glad the littlest have given you an easier day today bossymoo.
Been busy this PM making cupcakes with our French student then a new Jamie recipe for dinner which was delicious. Have only just finished icing the cakes and clearing up again after dinner so need to just open the work emails to see if there is anything I need to prep for.
Will call in after work to see what's on the list.
Enjoy the day tomorrow

DD hasn't got any uniform for tomorrow, and she hasn't sorted out her cookery stuff properly so I'm going to aim to get up at 6am-ish with her and do some ironing while she gets sorted and watched the end of the snooker I recorded for her.Hoping if I get up and moving I'll have another productive day, the livingroom certainly needs it!!
