Welcome zcrat, Laura S and welcome back MummyOfTwo, and many thanks as always to Natty, Bossy and Dusty.

More sorting and decluttering is going to happen here. There's a cupboard in the kitchen that could do with some attention and we've got a returning lodger arriving this afternoon, which means the shower room, a bedroom and the floors all need dealing with. The weather's turning *bleh* and it's due to rain later which isn't surprising. After all, it's a Bank Holiday. Grr.
    Better is good enough.

Morning flyladies :hello: and a big welcome to the new joiner-iners :)

We're off out today into Birmingham but I need to have a quick HHC before we leave, everywhere is untidy.

I haven't seen much of mumto5 lately, I hope she is well.

    Enjoy the BH, all xx

    Morning all

Welcome newbies and welcome home returners.

Lovely day here which is good as it is the cricket club open season fun day. DS1 has gone already, DS3 needs to get his homework done first.

    WW1 on

I have an extremely swollen eyelid so it will be a sunglasses on day! Hope it goes down for work tomorrow.

Welcome to the newbies & welcome back to those returning :D

Doing well this morning, even fitted in 10mins 'visualisation' after the exercise as DD was still in the bath :) Managed to have my bath & I have 2 loads of towels on the line, another (todays) in the machine now. :D

    This week:
Tue: work - collect books school
    Wed: Dentist, Bank?
    Thur: Work (Order)
Weekend: Ex Sun instead of Sat

    Dailies:
Beds MTWThFSaSu - stripped but need remaking
Dishes MTWThFSaSu - 1 batch done, another needed before I can even think of getting out there to make stuff
    S&S kitchen MTWThFSaSu
    Exercise (HHC) TThSat (10MC) [STRIKE]M[/STRIKE]WFSun
    Surveys etc MTWThFSaSu
    Evening meal MTWThFSaSu

Bank Holiday Monday - Light list
    Level 1

    [STRIKE] HH tidying or decluttering[/STRIKE]
Hoover and mop the worst bits
Find container for DD to use tomorrow for cookery (she's making soup)
    Level 2
    Meal plan for the week
    Level 3
    [STRIKE]Give sinks [/STRIKE] and toilets a scrub
    HHI x 4 minimum
    Mending DD's shoes

    Extras

If the sun shines try to do a 15 minute outside job
    Empty all your bins
    Bake subs
    Cook bacon
    Bake cakes / twinks
DD to attempt tomorrows cookery lesson so we can see how much is going to be made ;)
    Roast dinner for tea :D

Just having a coffee then I'm going to attempt to get a stain off my mattress. Told DD no drinks upstairs unless water, and no food. The other week while DD was away I took coffee and jam covered toast up and ended up spilling the coffee over my bed so I've been hiding the stain when I've stripped my bed until I could find a peroxide free method of removing it :o:rotfl:

Best get moving before I get too comfy and stop for the day. I want to get as much done before the next session of the snooker final starts at 2pm ;)

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

I have just put down some vanish carpet cleaner powder, the shakey one in the big pink packet, think it's called large area powder or something! Leaving it for 30mins then back to vacum it up. Has anyone tried it before? Hope it works, carpets upstairs looking grubby!

Morning all, its a lovely day here and I'm just back from a walk round the fields with the dogs and DD. Thanks for the list, I'm in again.

So far today, I've stripped the bed and put the sheets in the washer. I've still to put clean bedding on but I want to swap the duvet for the summer one and that means going into the back of a very big cupboard.

I've also sorted a bag for the charity shop and done the finishing touches on our new doors, along with doing all the ironing. So some things off the list then. Oh and have put out the rubbish, recycling and composting downstairs, though haven't emptied upstairs bins yet.

I am just having a cuppa and then plan to WUDUPA. Other plans for today are hoovering/mopping through the house and some gardening after I've gone into that there cupboard!

I hope everyone is enjoying their day.
