Sorry! So, coming back to the real world (sheepish look) thats still great - you've reached five figures on the investments, cos of Mr Market?
And I guarantee you you're right to be proud that you've managed to invest 7% of the value of your home in a year! Little Toots is going to have a very secure, loving home

I bet those are nicer than they sound?
This year should be better for savings, I believe all we need to buy are baby clothes, spit rags and coffee :rotfl:0 -

Okay, I've read your original post again - I *think* I know what you mean
but I'm going to pretend I know *exactly* what you mean
: you're down to under six figures .... [holds breath and hopes] .....
Still, I'm shutting down the browser now - whichever it is, you've worked hard, your focus is about to be on the little one, thats what matters2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Trying a new high protein, low fat diet during the day, because I eat when I'm bored (and I'm never full)! Going very well, but have had the same lunch from M&S 3 days in a row. Can't afford to be MF on that, so need some proteiny/cheap lunch ideas.
What could go with HM houmous (no oil)? Would seem to be one of the best ways to get plenty of protein with minimal faff. 0% fat greek yoghurt also good, but gives me a bit of an upset stomach.
Already got breakfast covered (porridge with egg whites or HM sourdough and a small amount of peanut butter) + eating 2* 1oz portions of healthy nuts and seeds a day.
Thoughts? If I stick to this sort of thing, I can restrict myself to c. 1100 calories then have a normal dinner, would seem like a sensible long term plan to slim down. My resting rate? is about 1900 calories, but have been eating 3000 or so for quite a while0
