Can't say I've ever read a book about caffeine but I have cut coffee down to one cup per day, nothing to do with moneysaving but because it was making me ill. It was rather difficult to begin with but after a week or so I really noticed the benefits.2018 totals:

I've read a couple of books about the origins of coffee, and the way trade has taken off, its fascinating. I drink one cup a day of really strong brewed coffee, I got into the habit when I had a German lodger, and her parents came to stay - the whole house smelt divine :j and because its only one, it doesn't do anything to me if I don't drink it one day for some reason (rushing out early etc). Its a win-win2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hi Ed
When work is crap I spend most of my time, especially during the commute, thinking of ways I can get out of it! This really helps with my determination to save"It is often said that before you die your life passes before your eyes. It is in fact true. It's called living." I so love reading your casino and matched betting adventures. These are so on the list for later this year. Maybe after the lent challengeMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

Thanks Watty, it is really ramping up for the Cheltenham Festival, something like 20 bets a day. I'll either be retired or homeless because I ballsed up the maths by the end of it0 -

Hi Ed, how's it going?
Saw your update on the £12k in 2015 thread and your numbers are looking good :j I'm doing that challenge myself though not actually posted on the thread
I was also mooching over on that board and was :rotfl:at one of your responses, to someone, not sure if you can recall it, it was the person saying they wanted to get rich just by investing and that they didn't want or need a proper job  and wanted to use their benefits or some such to invest. It was as 'terse' as I've ever seen you but I was in full agreement with your comments along with the others in a similar vein!
Hows the coffee reduction going?
Regards
