Better than many other vices Ed. Just think when you can afford to retire you'll have to thank work for giving you all the cr*p days so you were forced to save so much

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I have just finished reading a book about caffeine, it has made me realise that I really need to cut back! This week's project will be cutting back to no more than one mug of coffee a day0

Cut back to 1 mug from what current intake? Good luck with that it took me weeks to get from 14 cups a day to none - which I did for lent last year. I am trying to get down from about 8 to 2 now but have stalled around the 4 mark.
On the saving front. My wife and I set a rule which was never pay more than 11p ea for a nappy and we never did. (Just to clarify, the nappies were for our baby, now 3)0 -

Thankfully nowhere near that much! Think I'm at c. 1.5 mugs real coffee, 2 mugs instant and a mug of tea. Unfortunately for me, I'm sensitive to the affects of caffeine, so this is probably far too much :eek:0 -
Cutting back will be good for your gnashers too. You will thank me for this tip when you are 50 and yours are pearly white while your contemporaries have teeth the colour of coffee.Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
One of the hardest things about being pregnant is the cutting back of tea and coffee - it was very hard at the beginningBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
