Another one here.
Email sent to Vodafone.
Can I ask Vodafone why they don't do anything about this? I have had to complain before and was promised I would not receive any more sales calls. But now the calls have started 2-3 times daily again.
As contract is up for renewal easy decision to leave Vodafone.
Been with several companies but Vodafone by far the worse - hounded with phone calls, offers, sales calls etc.0 -
Hi go4it,
Thanks for making me aware of this.
I've got your email and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Kind regards,
Lee

I went on line and spoke to Vodafone livechat. They confirmed that this wasn't one of their numbers, so it must be an external sales team. I receive several calls a day.
I went on another forum and it explained how to block the call if you have an android phone:
- go into call log and press and hold the number down. There should be a list of options, one of which says "add to reject list".
- this won't stop them calling, but the call will be blocked. You'll just get a text message saying "missed call". They can still leave voicemails, but at least you won't be constantly hounded.
If you do want to annoy them, say you're just going to answer the door, put the phone down but stay on the line for a while, and waste their phone bill!0 -
This number is hammering me too. I've got them blocked and can see from my call log that I'm being hit twice a day.
One time I did answer the guy claimed to be from Vodafone but he sounded very dodgy.
Vodafone, if 01709 765330 really is one of your numbers then this heavy-handed marketing really isn't doing you any favours. :mad:0 -
Just to add a bit to it, everyone that's having this issue if you have an Android device there is an option in the call app to add numbers to a 'reject' list where the phone doesn't ring and it just diverts it to your voicemail0

Have been badgered by them and they tried to get me today, advised me I had lots of loyalty points with them which meant I could get a great deal with them on a tablet. Luckily I had just been in the shop sorting out an issue with my contract so I was able give them both barrels.
Went back in to the shop today and mentioned the call to them.
The loyalty points were new to them too, sounds like a sales ploy.0 -
I was called by them on April 13 and offered a free mobile wifi device and some free extra data allowance. My partner was sitting next to me when they called and was very sceptical that these extras were genuinely free. So I asked the caller to confirm that there would be no cost involved which he did. I therefore accepted the offer. 3 days later I discovered that I was being charged £8 per month for the mobile wifi device and an extra £10 per month on my phone.
I have complained to Vodafone and they say they are looking into it and will get back to me.
After a bit of research on the internet, including here on MSE, I have discovered scores of complaints about this company and specifically the number 01709765330 which called me. These complaints go back at least 2 years so it is clear that Vodafone know about them and what they are doing yet still continue to allow them to sell on their behalf.
I have 2 phones with Vodafone (one for me and one for my daughter) and pay them about £70 a month yet they are greedy enough to allow this company to use dishonest means to scam even more out of me.
Are we consumers so weak and Vodafone so strong that there is nothing that can be done about this?0 -

Shocking company to work for based on the employee reviews

Hi AndrewRoe,
As I haven't got an update on your case, I'll chase things up.
Once I have further news, I'll let you know.
