One IN No7 Awakening Eye Gel - just because - I unexpectedly spotted local shop selling Boots Botanics and No7 products. :D I expect they're end of range or had a change of packaging; so need to do some research and see if there's anything else worth having.

It's getting near to the end of the month and I'm bored with struggling through stuff just for the sake of it - so I cracked open a small 30ml GWP bottle of Balance Me Shiny Clean Shampoo and that was no help at all. No way will I ever be buying that; I didn't go much on the fragrance and it left my hair feeling horribly stripped and straw like. I had to condition it twice afterwards to get my hair back to anywhere near normal. I quickly repurposed the remains as shower gel to get rid asap.

Also UU Clarins Gentle Refiner Exfoliating Cream Cleanser which somehow is missing from my stash list, so I won't count it as an out. It was a GWP and not likely I would buy it, as I prefer not to use scrubby face stuff anymore.

I bought the last Alpha H TSV which was 200ml cleanser, 200ml liquid gold and an eye complex, so I am well stocked ATM:D

    UU's
500 ml L'Occitane Lavender Liquid Soap, love it, but trying to economise and using hand made soaps atm, they are Shea Butter and so rich and creamy, smell lovely and don't break out my dermatitis:D

30ml BM Prime time primer, MBA but have a MUA to use next.

200 ml The White Company hand & body lotion, have a Seville one to use and gallons of others before I can buy again.

Hello All! Just realized I haven't posted since April with the result I have 7 UUs to report. My total finally seems to be going down :).

400ml jar Judith Williams Phytomineral Body butter; love this stuff, and it leaves my skin soft and smoothe all day. The only peeve is that it leaves skin a bit sticky so it's difficult to get tights, leggings etc.on afterwards. Tons more body stuff to get through but WBA.

Michael di Cesare Liquifix; liked this and think I prefer sprays to Mousse for my hair. Others to use up, but MBA.

Sample Schwatrzkopf Rescue Conditioner; worked fine, but nothing special, WNBA.
25ml. Klorane macassar nut shampoo; worked fine, but nothing special. WNBA, but I know someone who uses nothing else.

50ml. Norwegian Formula Hand Cream; this works very wll, but the texture is more like vaseline! WMBA.

nurture Face Wipes; these are my favourite, but they're expensive. I usually have bought these when ordering my supplements, but I'm not really getting them there anymore, so WNBA.

Simple Eye Makeup wipes; I always use these as they suit me, are convenient and work very well. WBA.

Do your best to enjoy the rain!!

Good to see you Roguey - some nice ins there. I have had my eye on the No7 eyeshadow sticks, would love to hear how you get on with them (although I am currently trying to have no INS - particularly not eyeshadow as I have tons and can hardly ever be bothered to wear it!)

Keep putting the Too Faced neutral palette in my basket on look fantastic but have yet to press checkout! Probably won't buy as I really don't need it but it looks lovely.

Massage sounds lovely - I love a firm massage. Need to go for one myself.

Hope you had a good holiday seaside dreamer

Good luck kadison - exciting :)

Had enough of ebay - had loads of problems with them recently, with buyers etc. Now I am locked out of my account and all the things to reset my password are out of date (which I accept is my fault) Not sure how I am going to resolve the ongoing problem I have with a buyer on there now!

    1 UU -

61 - Morrisons roll on deodorant - WNBA, was just a cheapy but took ages to dry!

First attempt with the new Babyliss styler today, pleased with the result and with the heat defence spray - I am not very good at doing my own hair and am lacking in patience, but so far so good.

I have not been to Glasgow, but am an admirer of design of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, I too was so sad to read about the fire and later see the news footage.

I'm glad that your first go with the Babyliss styler was a success :) I've read such good reviews of it (over quite a few years, I think) that I've sometimes been tempted to buy one but so far I've managed to remind myself that I let my hair air dry and would be unlikely to use it. I like the idea of having hair that looks nicely blow dried though :rotfl:

It sounds like the firefighters did a miraculous job at protecting the building and managed to get a lot of treasures out (once all the people were out safely). The library has definitely gone though. I haven't been inside the Glasgow School of Art but I went to the Willow tearoom and a fantastic Charles Rennie Mackintosh exhibition/museum when I visited Glasgow many years ago. I love his aesthetic and I'm glad that they were able to save so much and sound determined to rebuild and restore to the highest level possible :) It even sounds like a lot of the students' work was protected (my OH went very pale at the thought of a degree show being wiped out on assessment day. I don't think he would have left the building if a fire had happened on the day he was finishing his degree show )

Kadison - I hope that your afternoon/evening with your possible beau went well?

Welcome to the challenge, Miclare. I'm a skincare addict too! (In recovery, hopefully :rotfl:)

Welcome back from hols to the lucky peeps that have been away :)

I've no UU to report but I haven't caved to any more special offers/beauty boxes and hope to keep it that way...(I don't have my INs to declare yet as they are at my parents' house).

I have had around 40 UU's this month so pretty pleased. Most of these have been sachets or mini 50ml sizes of body butter/shower gel etc but still my stash has been reduced a bit so all's good :)

5 INs so far, one was NBI.

Anyway I'm off to Wales for a week on Friday and have got loads to do this week so might not be posting again until next months new thread. Will be taking travel sized stuff away with me so hopefully more UU's to report when I get back!

    40 UUs?? :T :T :T

I hope that you have a lovely time in Wales :D

    Hello!

I wonder if it is worth you dropping a quick email to Stila? It was bad enough that one of your eyeliners failed but it's rubbish that it has happened again :(

They may be aware of a faulty batch or they may just replace them for you?

Oopsie. OH is off work for the bank holiday but the kids were still at school so we went shopping to Glasgow

Had lunch in TGI Fridays and OH bought me pressies :happyhear
(It was our 12yr anniversary yesterday and supposed to have been our wedding day too but as we had to reschedule that till later in the year I had to go to work as 'normal')

So........I have lots of INS. But technically didn't buy them, so that's ok, isn't it???

    1/ Clinique moisture surge pot
2/ Clinique all about eyes roll on

Which gave me bonus time gift (which technically ended but they had leftovers so were still giving out)

3/ Chanel coco mademoiselle 50mls (shop had 20% off between 12-2 and I've been wanting that for ages but it's never been on offer (that I've known of) before)

    4/ seventeen miracle matte powder

5/ s&g apricot jam blush block

6/ no 7 p&p serum (with £5 off voucher). I already have one of these and have been using it every morning so it's :money: of me really to buy with voucher (or so I'm convincing myself)

7/ Olay regenerist anti dark circle eye treatment

    8/ l'oreal insta blur cream

And he got me pandora goodies and some gorjuss goodies too!

Welcome newbies and well done all those avoiding temptation.
No beauty ins, unless you count the new leccy toothbrush that Amazon gave me to trial (which is brilliant, incidentally).
UU from Project Pan list of the 50g Mande Lular body souffle free sample.
WIB? Undecided, it smells heavenly, but a lot of things smell almost just as nice. It is wonderfully thick for a souffle, loved that aspect of it, and it rubbed in very well... but.... it did leave my skin feeling a bit sticky, which is one side effect I really don't like. It does cost a little bit more than I usually pay, but on the other hand it's a big 450g tub.
If my skin wasn't already in good nick I would definitely get it. Perhaps a pre-Christmas treat. I looked on Am@zon as I have vouchers to spend but it was double the usual price, so forget that.
