I love this, I used 30 and 50 on my recent holiday. I think you meant 20 though as it doesn't go lower (and no-one should go lower than 15 anyway
)
Nope, definitely factor 10! The highest I ever go is 15 (and that's for extreme on-the-equator sun) and I tend to start at 10 and drop to 6 or 4 by the end of my holiday. I'm aware of the guidance, but even "medium" SPFs act like sunblock on me, I'm Mediterranean so my skin is dark in summer and I tan quickly and deeply. I should start at the beginning. Had a lovely spa day with friends on friday. Lying on loungers by the pool, had a gorgeous neck and back massage and the therapist was not afraid to get right in to the knots under my shoulder blades. Two days later I feel a little bruised but three inches taller.QUOTE]
that massage sounds wonderful, when I was desk bound and extremely "knotty" I used to have a very tough massage every two weeks, my therapist was great fun too and she worked from home, allocating a room in her pretty, roses around the door, thatched Somerset cottage, so it was a great, if painful treat:eek:The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. I have been staying away out of shame as I have bought so much in the last month
In bourgeois healthy mix
In collection 16 hr foundation
To be fair tho I had no liquid foundations at all
In seventeen miracle matte pressed powder and I've already nearly hit pan on it. Much lighter colour than the collection one I had before. It is the best matte powder I've had in ages. I'm going to try the NYC pale one next which is meant to be very pale
And I totally reneged on my vow to buy no more lip balms.
I got a maybelline baby lips which I don't think is anything special. Don't know why everyone raves about them.
1 x carmex moisture plus berry - on offer for £1.15 in tesco. I already have the plum one and love it. It's very moisturising and great colour for that type of product I really rate them.
I have on order a dr jart bb cream so can't wait to try that
UU
Revlon photo ready bb cream - well it prob had another week left in it but had gone all separated and minging so I chucked it
Given away - natural collection tinted foundation - too dark for me
Given away a no 7 palette I've had for ages which I don't like
UU 2 packs of eye makeup removal pads
UU 2 Nivea roll ons I need to find a more long lasting brand. Anyone got recommendations?0 -
Hello all, back from my holiday to Santorini with some heat rash and a few UUs!
Wilko lip balm aloe vera- love this, my cheapy fav.
Extracts mango and nectarine body butter, very fruity, rubbed in well
Garnier Ultimate Blends shampoo and Conditioner sample- didn't think this was anything special
Extracts shower gel Mango and Nectarine- went a long way, we even left a bit behind:eek:
Wilko sensitive SPF 25 sun cream
Looks like I need more sun cream, my mum tells me Nivea is £2 this weekend in Wilko:money:and I'll slip into JL for my free coffee and cake and check out this Liz Earle offer I'm hearing about:A

I have been meaning to go for a back massage for months because my back just feels like one big knot but I think you and rogueylawer may have put me off :rotfl: I never thought a massage would be painful with bruising  I'm way too much of a wuss for that!!No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins0 -
I think that, depending on where you go, you can get whatever type of massage that you want/need:D I have had lovely relaxing Aromatherapy ones at beauticians and tough remedial ones, the tough ones have been to correct bad posture imbalances or when all the stress in my life manifested itself in really painful back and shoulders, for me it was a little pain = a lot of gain:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. I should note that I asked for medium to firm pressure and she checked that what she was doing was good, but she already knew I went to chiropractor once a month. After you've heard your own cervical spine click in your ears during manipulation, well a bit of tough love on knots isn't anything.
It was wonderful though, the first push felt tough and after that you could feel it releasing, much like a muscle in your foot after cramp.
ETA: a further 6 (very cheating) UUs. L'Occitane divine cream 1ml x 6
I recently took advantage of the 7 day free trial so have emptied the seven sachets into the 20ml eucerin night cream jar. According to the sales assistant those 7 sachets should last me two weeks instead of one. I've kept one back on the list as the UU when all the pot is gone. If my spreadsheet is right I should have another 5 sachets knocking around, but I couldn't lay my hands on them tonight so will have a look tomorrow and empty those in to the pot too.0 -
