Oooh! Do let us know how you get on with your new Babyliss styler :) Very exciting :j

Off topic. Is anyone in Glasgow? I feel so sad about the fire at the School of Art. It's the first time I've cried over the loss of a building. (I felt silly but couldn't help it.) Thank goodness everyone got out safely. I can't imagine how they are going to restore it though :( And the poor final year students that have probably just lost their degree shows :(:(

First attempt with the new Babyliss styler today, pleased with the result and with the heat defence spray - I am not very good at doing my own hair and am lacking in patience, but so far so good.

I have not been to Glasgow, but am an admirer of design of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, I too was so sad to read about the fire and later see the news footage.

Hello ladies, I'm a serial lurker, I did start posting on the thread maybe a year back but just got busy with the little ones etc and so then I just lurked and followed. But now I really need to get back on track, I keep ordering fab offers, and feeling pleased with myself for how much I've saved and then when it arrives I get that guilty feeling and then when I finally take it upstairs to put away and see all the other stuff I realise it'll be a year probably before I'll get round to using it!

So hopefully by posting here I'll get the same buzz from announcing my UUs as I currently do when clicking on checkout! I think I need to start a spreadsheet so I can actually see at a glance how many cleansers etc I have as back up before even thinking about buying another even if it is on special offer! And on another note, I am trying to unsubscribe from all brands emails as then come in with offers, bye bye REN, Murad, Clinique etc. I can always resub when I'm more on track and I always hear about the really great offers on here or via blogs etc anyway so it's actually more effective to unsub then to constantly be clicking delete when they all come in.

I wont post my list yet, maybe at the start of next month but I have about 250 items, including sachets but not essentials like toothpaste, make up or nail polish.

So hello everyone I'm a skincare-a-holic hoader, hope we can all be good for the rest of the month and avoid any amazing bank holiday offers and instead have a lovely been UU pamper session! :)

Hello all, I hope everyone's well?

I got back from hols this morning, about 1:20am. I drove up to Ayr on the West coast of Scotland for 2 weeks, and it was heaven, I'm missing it so much! I want to cry I miss it so much :(

I have several OUTs to report later and several INs as well thanks to the shopping I did while away, which I am not going to apologise for because I was on holiday so sod it ;)

Pleased that you had a lovely holiday, great to have you back though:D

Has anyone used the Barry M Gelly hi shine nail polishes? if so any tips on how to get the best coverage? I tried 2 thin coats but seemed not to cover at the nail tip well when I tried to wrap the tip (was patchy) and then tried 1 thick coat which was better, but somehow felt that there was too much polish on the nail:( Also the colours are lovely, but reviews agree with me that it is slow to dry (even when I used Seche Vite or Nails Inc Caviar top coat)

    Welcome miclare

Good to see you kadison - glad you had a great holiday. Hope you have some time to relax and get used to being back home.

Maddiemay I have a fair few of the Barry M gelly polishes. I bought some of the new shades today :o:eek: I find that it is best to apply them quite thickly but you are right, they do take ages to dry. I haven't found a way around that unfortunately :(

    Evening everyone!

Welcome back kadison, good to hear you enjoyed your holiday.

I have finally managed some UU for the month!! (just double checked and its the 24th, I was in danger of not getting through anything )

Avon perfume body mist In Bloom - this was the Reese Witherspoon sponsored perfume a couple of years back, WNBA, it was perfectly nice but has already been discontinued and I have several years worth of perfumes to get through yet.

Avon Pedi-Peel pads - WNBA, I have no idea how old these were, there were 65 pads in the tub and I used them once a month at most ..... which equals many years old :rotfl: Didn't do anything really, just glad to get rid of them!

Lancaster self tan cream sample - I think I may have "acquired" this when working in a department store about 10 years ago :o It didn't seem to do any tanning but I should probably have used it fresh in order to find out.

Have a good rest of weekend :D

    Hi All,
Sorry I've not been about, just not been in a chatty mood.
Very slow going this month because I've been lazy and not used body lotion or hand cream at all.
Have UU about 5 items and only 1 IN so although UUs are slow the INs were low so that's good.
Hope all are well, I am trying to catch up, but boy do you gab!! Lol. :)

I take it the usual suspects are keeping the naughty step warm? ;)
You know who you are! :D
