Lakeland was the cheapest place for a rotary line spike & palette knife. Then the choice we have is Robert Dyas, Carpenters or the Cook Shop none of which are particularly cheap.Truth always poses doubts & questions. If you cut a cross in the lid of a plastic milk carton - they make very good sock holders to put in the washing machine and cost nothing.0

Hiya - new to this thread, was just looking for reviews of the crisp maker!!
From the reviews on the Lakeland website, it looks like the crisp maker has been withdrawn from sale for the moment, after it caught fire in someone's microwave ...

I bought a roasting pan, a shortbread tin and a brownie tin from there when it was a three for two offer and thought they were good value. I also got a set of four tins in the sale for a tenner, also good value I thought. I agree though at full price it's not for money savers like us
however with things like tins you want them to last - I can't tell you how many cheap ones I have got through over the years, there's no point in buying cheap with some things!
I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

I think it was £10 but has proved invaluable, sinks are never big enough for oven shelves and the bags that come with oven cleaner never seem to work for me. I just soak the shelves in hot water with washing soda. Simples! Oh...also used for potting up seedlings and other jobs.
I bought ours about five or six years ago now and wouldn't be without it. It can go a long time without use, but I also press ours into action for cleaning the grills from the bar-be-que which is such a boon as ours are big and oval and don't go in the sink very well. It makes a really brilliant job light work of what should be a horrible tedicous task!
Love Lakeland stuff but cannot afford it all!!!Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:

Why I love Lakeland so much....well today I decided to take my Remoska and all its bits and pieces back as I don't really use it any longer and it seems to be less powerful than it used to be.
I got £107 cash back because I had bought the Remoska online so they could check that and so refunded me the cash and I received a credit note for nearly £80 for the extra bowls and racks I'd bought to go with it.
If I'd have kept my receipts I would have got all my cash back but I'm more than happy with the result.
