I can't get my oven shelves into a clean litter tray - I tried! Shame I'm too mean to buy a shelf soaker.
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.

I just empty the cat litter out into a bag and then soak my oven shelves.

It's great as it also doubles up as a large salad serving tray when we have guests round (the cat has to keep its legs crossed).

Seems a bit steep for a bit of one use plastic. I have massive plastic boxes under my bed (usually to stash presents, sheets and special occasion shoes/bags) which we about 4 for a tenner. I couldn't justify the cupboard space just for soaking over racks!
  • Have to say that the Lakeland one is brilliant for making paper - it is really sturdy, nice thick plastic and very big. That's not going to be a consideration for most people, but I run workshops in things like papermaking & dyeing & it's great for those. I also have 3 cats & have to say that most litter trays we've bought over the years didn't stand up well to life in a busy household & cracked at the corners; the cats use old washing-up bowls now instead as they're much more robust!

  • How many people browsing the Lakeland catalogue who think 'Oh, that's useful' would ever think of doing a price comparison with a pet accessory supplier though?

You use a cat's toilet to serve food from?

You do know she was joking!

Forget soaking the oven shelves etc in Litter trays, baths etc. Oven Mate gel from Lakeland is an absolute must for those ovens and shelves that need cleaning, so easy to use and smell free.

Nothing would surprise me on here having read of people who save the liquid from tins of sweetcorn & tuna.
