If you are looking for cheap low-fat snacks have you considered popping your own popcorn. There is an air popper (no need for oil) on sale in comet at the moment for £9.99 and corn is really cheap.

If the Lidl ones are 500g each, then £1.99 is dirt cheap - a little goes a long way.

You can normally get it in the supermarket, often near the dry beans etc or they sell it at holland and barrett.
    independent health food shops too

in the supermarket it can also be in the ethnic or wholefood aisles, sometimes in more than one place & often at different prices, so make sure you check before buying

Are they little things which you attach socks to so you can put them in the WM? If so I bought some in Wilkinsons a couple of weeks ago. I keep forgetting to use them :o

Yes, that is them. I live in NI so I don't have a Wilkinsons near me but thanks for the help!

I love the Lakeland shop the customer service is fab and there is no deadline on returning goods if your not satisfied. The products last for years.

When I first met my husband he said we couldn't walk past the body shop without me going in and trying and buying all sorts of potions. Now he gets the same sinking feeling when we see a lakeland shop he says I can't pass without spending ages in there looking at stuff to buy for the kitchen!

Thank you for the link. The ones in the link are a replacement for the old ones which according to customer reviews were much better than the new ones. Looks like I cannot get the old ones so I may have to sample the new ones myself.

Someone was selling ones like the old ones on Ebay but in more colours.
  • OH bought me one of Lakeland's trays for soaking oven shelves in last year (bless)! I think it was £10 but has proved invaluable, sinks are never big enough for oven shelves and the bags that come with oven cleaner never seem to work for me. I just soak the shelves in hot water with washing soda. Simples! Oh...also used for potting up seedlings and other jobs.
    Normal people worry me.

Has anyone got the Lakeland super chef? Tempted but at £200 it's a big investment. I know that I can send it back and get my money back if it ends up being unused- did that with my remoska after I had too many burns!

Also Lakeland used to sell two magnets one had details of what symbols meant on washing machines whilst the other had details of what symbols meant on tumble dryers. My washing machine broke at the beginning of the year and when it was left with the repair man he informed us over a month later that it wasn't repairable. Hubby was supposed to go and get the magnet back but he forgot and I would imagine the machine has been disposed of a long time ago. Does anyone know where I can get another one of these magnets?

    I hope this makes sense!

Does anyone know where to get the magnet which has the meanings of the washing machine symbols?
