I emailed them and when they emailed me back they said they would post a cheque to me. Although they know which items I have they did not request photographic evidence or even a copy of my receipt.
This is one of the reasons why I love Lakeland. Their prices can be a bit higher than other shops but I'm willing to pay a little extra for good customer service and in my opinion Lakeland's customer service is second to none.

I completely agree, I was recently in the Stratford Lakeland and just as I was about to pay when the tills went down. They immediately came out with boxes of chocolates and started handing them out while they sorted out the tills ( which took about 10 mins) yummy

I have recently bought the potato bag and its brilliant , just wished I had bought the nana bag now too
  • the fat trappers are wonderful - fdood comes out of the oven crisp not soggy!

And they're educational - my kids have been surprised to see how much fat some foods produce!

... at least, I think that is what it is called. I cart heave stuff around for work and this is great, even if I still have to heave it in and out of the car. But Asda is selling something very similar for a fraction of the price at the moment.

I was going to buy the potato bag a few years ago when I had a

I realised that one of the children was moving schools and didn't need their very large navy canvas shoe bag any longer.............so I saved myself a bit of money :)

Personally, if they're recalling them, I wouldn't use them. Lakeland have very good customer service, if you gave them a ring I'm sure they'd send you replacements or refund your money.

They sent me a cheque. I disposed of the spoons but when I was in Lakeland last they said that they were almost certainly safe to use!

Have often looked at these when I have been in Lakeland but we tend to grill a lot of food. What sort of things do you use them for in the oven that come out crispy rather than soggy?
  • I use the fat trappers to grill-they are fabulous-I can grill lamb chops without fires, and because the fat doesn't splash up the top of my grill (impossible to clean under the element!) is still pretty clean 3 years down the line (the rest of my oven is slightly different!) but before I used them there always used to be that greasy smokey smell when I grilled

Sorry to sound so thick but do you place the fat trappers directly under the food, or are do you put them in the bottom of the grill pan?
