) make my order up to whatever price it is so I get free delivery! I live on my own and buy in bulk, so these things would be a godsend.
There's a Lakeland in Bluey. Good excuse for a big shop. If you get the train to Greenhithe the price includes the bus to the shopping centre.0 -
I love my over-door ironing hooks. Can iron and hang the clothes straight up. Otherwise I just hook the clothes on the door handle and they fall off when someone comes into the room! I also love my kitchen timer as I regularly make boiled eggs for DD. I used to get the dehumidifiers too as they did a large one which was ideal for our caravan over winter. Kept it free from condensation and had a lovely smell too.
My worst item was the plastic container that you put in the fridge and stacked up to save space. The layers weren't very deep and I just never used it.0 -

The upright hoover sorry vacuum cleaner in blue is the best hoover i have ever had. It is very lightweight and is very similar to the Oreck so your £25 would pay half as its only about £50.:T Some of my best gadgets in my home are from Lakeland. From freezer bags pans knives tinfoil hotchocolate fudge baking tins. My other half dreads me going in to their shop especially when on holiday as I land up with an extra suitcase to take home. Once when on the train home after a visit to one their shops I spent the whole way home writing out my order from 3 different catalogues - best train journey ever.Their mailorder is brilliant with very quick delivery. If you buy something and don't like it ( not very likely ) they will replace it.:T
ps If you are in to crafts - card making etc I would spend your £25 on bits for your hobby.0 -
Penny-Pincher - the one in Edinburgh has a sale on and a few days ago I treated myself to a large Mermaid roasting tray reduced from £25 to £16 and a Cookamesh Basket which was half price at £3.25 ish. The latter allows air to circulate to ensure crisp food so its great for things like oven chips/wedges (no need to turn) and small pastries/canapes and such. Both were really good buys.0

I bought an insulated butter dish and reckon I've made my money back since I've stopped buying spreadable butter. Looks very nice as well in brushed stainless steel.
But I don't think I'll ever be able to poach eggs properly no matter how many little gadgets I acquire!weaving through the chaos...0 -

Since purchasing it, I have seen others that are cheaper and smaller, I may suggest that you shop around..
agree with this. it's relegated to the cupboard under the stairs as there's not space for it in the kitchen, and i also find it tricky to clean properly.0 -
I tried the fixx keeper and thought it was rubbish. I should call up CS and let them know. I wonder if mine is faulty seeing as though so many others loved it.0

Ditto garlic gadgets! I'm perfectly capable of using the squashing under a big knife method I was taught at college, but I hate the smell on my hands. Do those metal 'soap' thingys work? But I don't think I'll ever be able to poach eggs properly no matter how many little gadgets I acquire![SIZE=-1]"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. I have to agree, the spudnik potato masher is RUBBISH!! however i have my eye on the potato ricer, but it's £10, is it worth it?
My potato ricer sits in the back of the cupboard gathering dust, spuds go cold and it's a b*gger to wash!
I love the stayfresh bags and my lockand lock. The soup/sauce bags are handy too.0
