    I like that saying tori

When I have time, I like to get up and then run within half an hour of getting up. I then have breakfast after I come home. If I am going to exercise any later than 8am, I would have breakfast an hour before.

Today has been beige carby food but did over 17000 steps without any type of exercise/dog walking, just rushing round like a mad thing at work.

  • Hi,

I've booked a spin and abs class tomorrow morning, and I'm worried I won't be fit enough for it.

I went to a spin class 8/9 years ago when I last joined the gym and at the end I thought I might die!

Although I like the gym and is like doing my xbox fitness, I want to find a class to attend regularly.

    I'll report back tomorrow

Spinning is great TT, it's hard going but you set your own resistance so will be fine have a great time :)
  • I love to read what everyone here is doing by way of exercise and eating, and hope to be fit enough for a class come September.

    Plan for today
Physio exercises - increasing repetitions as I am getting into it
Walk 1.6 miles to shop and back.
    Breakfast (late) porridge with blueberries
    Lunch Crispbreads, spread, salad, cheese
Dinner Lamb chop, new potatoes, lots of veggies.

Today I am going to restrict my cups of (milky) tea to 6 and drink either green tea or water for the rest of the time. I find I am drinking tea all day which is adding to my calorie intake.

tori - lived the quote, very true.

    - spinning is a killer, give it your all and after a few sessions you will see results.

Thanks for the replies re morning exercise, as so many of you manage it without eating I will give it a go, I will have a small drink of squash before I go though and take a drink, I am a migraine sufferer and dehydration often triggers them. I will report back when I have done a session.

I have been running this morning as it is supposed to be really hot today, I will cycle later and dog walk this afternoon.

Something very exciting happened yesterday. I bought a pair of Next skinny jeans on ebay, they were new and only cost me 99p plus postage, as I have still lots of weight to lose I got them in a size 12, when they came I thought I would try them on, I put one leg in and thought these will never fit, they are super skinny, anyhow I remembered how my DD has to wrestle her way into her skinny jeans so I jiggled into them and they fit, they do up with room and everything. They look really lovely with my converse hi tops and I am over the moon.

Still have jumping jacks and the dreaded Burpees to do today, but I've done the high knees, crunches, squats and sit ups for the day, plus a short walk with the dogs.

Does anyone do Yoga? I'm thinking of giving it a go. I have free access to Instructor Live on my tablet, which has all types of different classes, and I quite fancy the Yoga ones.

There is nothing better than when something that never used to fit, or something you don't think you'll get in to, goes on with ease. That's fab. :D

  • Well, I didn't die at my spin class!

I didn't work half as hard as most in the class, but I think that was down to my last experience. I was dripping with sweat, but not out of breath so I could go harder.

What I'm completely disappointed about now is that I came home and ate a huge bag of sweets as I felt I needed them (500 cals).

I feel so awful, but I've logged them on my fitness pal so I won't make that mistake again :(

    Hi all

I've been to the gym and burned off 302 calories. Coincidently I've just scanned a bottle of wine and half the bottle is also 302 calories, so I'll drink them back later

B porridge, cup of tea, omega 3 capsule - 159 cals

L half an avocado, cottage cheese, cherry tomatoes, cup of tea - 290 cals

T going to try and make a cauliflower based pizza - not sure on cals yet

    S vino! - 302 cals

Hello and good luck, I dont see the merit in drinking back burned cals, doesnt thst defeat point og going? Puzzled..

In what way did you need them? Comfort or energy? Its easy to say dont buy them, but how about an emergency tube of pastilles? For next time you feel the need?
