    Morning all & Welcome Catcherupper

Well it was a 1.5LB gain for me this week which is OK as I just gained back last week loss rather than add to it (Tori's odd logic there) :D

Prudent you lucky duck a massage sound divine :)

Im going veg heavy this week and try and balance my Fruit to veg.

    Bfast Greek yoghurt & cherry's
Lunch mixed salad, Egg & new pots
Dinner mixed veg curry & brown rice
    snack apple

    with Circuit training for exercise.
  • Hi, Fmess. I will try to find my pedometer. If I can increase my steps gradually, whilst keeping the time the same I will feel I am improving.

This morning I will walk 1.6 miles to the shop and back.

I will also do my core strength exercises.

My food plan for the day is
Breakfast - porridge and blueberries with skimmed milk
    Snacks - carrots and hummous
Lunch - crispbreads with soft cheese and salad. Fruit.
Dinner - Salmon, brown rice, large salad.
    Lots of water.

If my hips allow I will do another walk in the evening. I really would like to reduce the time I spend sitting(and lying down).

Your food sounds good and yummy. Hope you enjoy your walking.

I normally go cycling on Tuesday morning but have decided to go for a run this evening instead, I need to build up my running.

I have done 23,000 steps today! I think that is a first, and don't expect it to be repeated any time soon.

Also managed Jiggle free day 15, so am keeping up to date with that.

Tomorrow I have to wait in for a delivery between 6am and noon, so will crack on with tidying and paperwork. And get a full workout in too.

Hit the 10 veg mark - yay!

Your food diaries all sound scrummy :)

I am resigned to the fact that I will not be back on the healthy eating and exercise until Saturday, when school has finished and life is a lot less stressful.

Today I have been on a trip all day, but managed nearly 16000 steps :) Eating has been ok but not healthy lol

    Keep up the great work

Just had a brilliant bike ride, we didnt get back until half nine and there was the most amazing sunset as we came back into our village. With my sons help I have adjusted the seat and handlebars on my bike and I am very happy because my back is aching a little but is nowhere near as bad as it was.

I am due to run first thing tomorrow but I will be sensible, if my back is still achy I will give it a miss.

Wow, 23000 steps am, thats good going.

Hungry now, hate it when I get hungry this time of night because I know its the wrong time to be eating. Might have a Weetabix and some fruit.

    Morning all,

Seems we all have a celebration with GOVE being ousted from education, watch the cal count with the party nibbles guys :D

Hope you had a lovely walk Catcherupper and sounds like it was quite a ride Yorkshirelass.

A step backwards for me in my fitness as i've blown my knee, would love to say I was deadlifting 180LBS or something impressive but actually managed to smack into the granite wall trying to prove to the kids I can still walk on my hands,so now have a tennis ball instead of a kneecap :o when will my brain tell my body im not 20 anymore im such a prat :D

food is a odd mix of loads of bits that have to be used up,

Bfast Greek yoghurt, mixed berrys and chia seeds
Lunch mixed fruit&Veg salad ( have a big thing for raw broccoli at the mo)
Tea Jacket pot, cheese and beans or herb omelette and salad (depends on how much salad I have left)

exercise will be shopping will actually do it myself rather than click and collect :o

Fmess, just a few more days to go! Hang in there!

YORKSHIRELASS, your bike ride sounds lovely. How far was it? Not surprising you are hungry afterwards!

tori - yay to no more Gove! But , did you ever watch 'Yes Minister'? Although the figurehead may change, the guys who do all the work and effectively make decisions are still there. Grrr! How much more messing can/will they do?! Do REST that knee - hope it improves soon.

Waiting in for a bed delivery till noon (tho if they aren't here by them I'm not sure I'll go out anyway!) so an indoors day ahead. Should do Juggle free and tabata.
