Good news about your DH tori.
Fully enjoyed my rest day yesterday although I still walked the dog, mopped the floor (a large expanse of floor) cleaned all the appliances, gadgets and work surfaces in the kitchen, 40 minutes school run, football and piggy back races, so not much rest really.
Today is cycling for about 50 minutes.
A friend of ours is doing a bike race today, it's 70 miles and me and DH are going to do it next year but may do some this year if any are local enough. I plan to start doing some competitive running next year, I am currently comfortably doing 5k so will start building on that now. I need to have this plan as all my focus this year is going into losing weight and getting fit and when I am where I want to be I have nothing to focus on, I am single minded when I want to be so I need to have a target or I will drift and put the weight on again, it has taken me years of yoyo dieting to learn this about myself:o.
Todays menu
B/F - HM porridge with soya milk topped with trail mix, slice of fruit toast and flora, 2 x coffee.
Lunch - onion bagel with salad, fruit & yoghurt.
Tea - Chipottle chilli pulled pork, potato wedges and corn on the cob.
Snacks - fruit and squash.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Fmess have you thought about doing the plank challenge alongside the Ab&Squat, it's great for building the core muscle and really helps with sit-ups.I have 20,70 &65 today  it's the crunches I have the most issues with them hurt
There is a plank in the ab challenge. The first day was 25 seconds and I couldn't do it but now I'm on day 8 and just managed 30 secondsamazing how quick you improve.
Today has been great exercise wise but not that great food wise (I sound like a broken record!). Did a body combat class, walked the dogs, achieved over 16000 steps and have done the ab and squat challenges
Food:
Breakfast - cereal
Lunch - crisp sandwich (OH didn't buy fruit or veg or salad when he was left in charge of the food shopping)
Dinner - sausage sandwich and salad, and crisps, and meringue with cream and strawberries
I can see where it's all going wrong. My exercise is great compared to 6 months ago but my food is too inconsistent, too sugary and too fatty. I need to get this sorted ASAP as it's stopping me from getting rid of that final 13 lbs.

I've had one of those days too Fmess it's been a pick day food wise for me despite the fact a made a soup filled with Mediterranean veg and have a fridge filled with fresh local berries, I raided the lads pack-up and ended up with crisp's & cake and a banana for tea. with a veggie fry-up this morning on Dartmoor ( Happy Solstice everyone)
Spinning for me tomorrow morning early and we decided to dig the BBQ buckets out and head down the beach in the afternoon it's 2ft dirty surf on the north so we will take the aerobie it's a huge bonus that in Cornwall your never more than 20mins from a beach. we were heading off to Plym valley but DH bike needs a new gear cable so hopefully he will get that fixed in the week and the weather will stay with us for next weekend.0 -
Fmess - do you have a link to your ab and squat challenges?
Did my 8 mile bike ride yesterday, DH has a cold so he found the hills hard work but it was good fun. Today will be a running day and we are also taking the kids out on a bike ride but it will be a nice gentle ride.
Food yesterday wasn't as good as usual, meals were fine but I added in lots of naughty bits that I wouldn't normally have.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I have just downloaded the apps to my phone. If you go on the App Store they are the ones with black backgrounds, and have a blue banner which says free in the corner.

Had a really good weekend.
Bought a fab new wardrobe on Saturday, all size 10-12, brilliant as now I have clothes! (And underwear that fits)
Then today my gym session ended on a 2 mile run in under 22 minutes (after 50 mins of other cardio) felt brilliant and like I'm totally in the zone.
Also loving my actifry.
Hope everyone had a good one too. XMorgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

Evening All,Day 17 and have lost 13lbs and well chuffed. I'm keeping up the exercise in the week and giving myself a rest at the weekend. Went to my sisters for a bbq, took a salad, fruit and yoghurt, I just had a spicy turkey kebab, no bread.Felt a little peckish when I came home so i washed some strawberries and had a coffee seemed to do the trick.Hope everyone is doing well,I will get to read some posts tomorrow when i have more time :-)0

muneeymaker, well done on the weight loss - awesome!
HDK what an exciting clothes shop! Well done on the run too.
This week I shall:
-do 10k steps per day
-eat 10 veg per day
-avoid sugar for 6 days
-do 3 sweaty workouts
-not snack between getting home from work and having tea - unless it is unfinished lunch food.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
HDK that is fantastic news, well done
muneymaker well done, that is incredible weight loss!
Today I have done the ab and squat challenges but not much else, except 10 hours of exam marking. I've ate too many calories but refused to leave the house and lose my SFD, so the damage was limited to what we had in the cupboards :rotfl:
Breakfast - 2 eggs and soldiers
Lunch - toast
Snacks - 2 chocolate bars
Dinner - pasta with chilli and cheese
Just realised there wasn't a single fruit or veg in my food today (except in the chilli).
Back on the wagon tomorrow, where my marking will be interrupted by workingLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)
