Well done HDK and great present to yourself!
Don't be depressed aggypanthus, try making a plan to get to your goal weight/size
Today has been a no sticker dayI knew I was going for curry so calories would be a no sticker but then I was very poorly for a couple of hours this afternoon (possible glutenated) so haven't been able to complete steps or exercise and definitely no ab workout today. I may do the squat workout before bed, I'll see how achey my stomach is.
Tomorrow I should be back on track with a run after workLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Well done HDK - that is phenomenal!:T:T:T
I've hit 10 veg, 10k steps, no sugar (tough to do this one today) and exercise. So £4 to the pot today.
fmess, hope your tum settles. Possibly just do nowt exercise-wise and count it as a 'nothing' day, as if it never happened. Hope you feel better soon - and avoid that curry place from now on!
aggy, hope you are doing better in today's weather. Heat can be so exhausting!
Bet, I'm well miffed on your behalf and am on my high horse about what she dared say to you. Grrrr to her!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Morning all.
Fmess & Aggy I hope your both feeling better.
Had a good day with the food yesterday all fruit and veg with a little cheese thrown in,will be the same again today really not looking for hot food in this weather, circuit training this evening.
Hoping to head off to Plym valley with the bikes this weekend there is a lovely pub in Meavy at the end of it, and heading back after lunch is ok as it a slight downhill gradient
DH has the diabetic nurse today, he reduced his med's once already we hoping that they may agree to take him off his injectable to see if he can maintain his bloods with just exercise and diet, he will never be able to remove all his drugs but hopeful that it can be just tablet controlled so remove the side effects of the injectable.
Loving life todayhave a great day everyone

Very well don HDK.
Aggy, Fmess - hope today is a better day.
I have been weighed today and have lost 1lb, I have reached my target for June now with one more week to go so any more weight lost is a bonus.
I went to the gym yesterday but my whole body felt really fatigued so I think I am going to drop one exercise session a week, I just need to decide which one. Next week I will have to miss out one bike ride as we are at a presentation evening on one of the days me and DH usually cycle, I would prefer not to drop a biking session as I really love this plus it balances my leg muscles as it uses different muscles to running which will help keep my knees supported in the long term.
Treat day today but nothing to indulgent, homemade pizza and a bit of chocolate later.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Thank you everyone. Was much better after an hour or so and just a bit achey today.
apple muncher weirdly it was from a jacket potato from the school canteen and I always have them and I never have a problem. Had curry for dinner and was fine
Today has been good so far. No exercise session planned but will do ab and squat challenges later and I'm up to 9500 steps so far. Calories not too bad either

Evening all.
Fantastic day, training was hard not sure if it was the heat or just due top having a week off, foods gone well just fruit and veg and some cheeky slabs of cheese atho im dreading weigh-in on Monday.
Great news from the diabetic clinic DH bloods have improved they agreed to take him off his injectable with a bloods check in 3 months he will always be on the tablets due to his pancreas being pretty much knackered as he should of took control years ago but it a major achievement for him being able to come off the injections as most can't when it get's that far. there is no going back for us now as the only way to keep him off the meds is to maintain the level of healthy eating and exercise we are at now, DH lost both his Grandfather & Father to diabetic related complications and I fully intend to make his life miserable for many years yet.0 -
That's great news about your DH tori, well done to your both on making the changes
I've managed to do over 11000 steps, the squat challenge and an abridged version of the ab challenge. I have awful stomach muscles and we're now on day 7 and doing 30 sit ups. I still can't do one, unless I wedge my feet under the sofa or OH stands on them, so I'm doing the same number, but mainly crunches instead of sit ups. Maybe after 30 days I will do the challenge again and be able to do the sit-ups fully.
No exercise session today as did 4 hours exam marking after tea. Calories were closer to 1500 than 1300 but not too bad.
Hope you're all tucked up in bed ready for a sunny weekendLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Fmess have you thought about doing the plank challenge alongside the Ab&Squat, it's great for building the core muscle and really helps with sit-ups.I have 20,70 &65 today  it's the crunches I have the most issues with them hurt0
