Thank you for all making me feel so welcome. Great thread apple muncher.
Dolly, fantastic to find someone which such similar journey. Your tea reminds me that my challenge should be try a new recipe, as the mexican beef sounds yummy.
So my food challenge will be find and try a new recipe each week.
I keep trying to create a meal plan but always fail, so adding a few ideas into my current offerings would be a vast improvement.
I have just started adding several different classes to my routine as I have no upper body strength and no abs. So am currently doing Cx works, body pump and abs blast in addition to my normal stuff. I am currently the most pathetic person in the room, by MILES. They all do full plank and do half, they have big weights, I have teeny weights and so on. Would love to be able to keep up (and to stop cheating...) so i suppose that's my next exercise big challenge.
Id also like a "healthy" BMI by the end of July. So that's my weight challenge is to lose 10lb.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

This week I shall:
- eat 6+ veg per day
- consume no added sugar
- do 4 sweaty workouts
- get to bed before 10pm
And then we hit half term.
Got my veg down me, ate no sugar (despite making choc chip cookies for dd!), 1 sweaty workout done (and TWO pulled/ tweaked muscles! 1 calf when skipping in the 3rd round and 1 side ab from doing a new exercise-side bends- and reckoning it was easy so opting to use my 25lb sandbag to do it!) and will be in bed by 10.
Please remind me not to do ZWOW 7 again!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Well it's one hour of circuit training, no refined sugar and I will most definitely make bed before 10pm as I can barely keep my eyes open. I didn't make my duckpond walk as it chucked down during my break. so planning a spin session tomorrow if I can make it back on time from work.
HDK I couldn't even hold my own body weight to do push-ups when I started circuit's I now give DH a run for his money, i've been lucky with planks as i've never found them very hard oddly must be the years of yoga back in the day
Apple muncher that sounds so bonkers your have to make a you tube video so we can see what your up to, do take it easy, sounds painful just hearing about it
gotta go find some zzzzzzzzz0 -
So wish I reach that Tori, although I've never been good at plank and the leg lifts remind me getting a dead leg.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

Poor you apple muncher ,hope your muscles receiver soon
Sorry to hear about your bike dolly but well done on all the exercise
HDK I am the same with exercising and classes. I can never hold any of the moves and frequently jump at the wrong time during aerobics type classes. But at least I'm moving and using calories.
Today was another poor day on the challenge front
Breakfast - two slices of toast
Lunch - meatballs, potatoes and cheese
Snack - yoghurt and 2 large biscuits
Dinner - chicken and chorizo with potatoes and a Gu pudding
Feel like I've completely gone AWOL today. Only had 2 pieces of fruit and veg, exercised for only 20 minutes and ate way too much, including two chocolate treats. I feel like I have really lost the inner drive to lose weight. I really want to but just keep making bad food choices everydayFeeling very sorry for myself and cross at myself today

Today is another day, guys! It may be sunny or cloudy, but we are on a mission to eat well and keep moving. A bad day - or even a run of bad days - does not disqualify us from our ultimate targets.
If your target is x amount of fruit and veg, then make sure you take that to work and eat it. Say to yourself that once you have eaten that, then you 'may' have something else if you are still hungry. And if you are often still hungry, then you need to be taking MORE good food with you. We know that this fitter and trimmer malarky is 80% (or even 90%) what we eat.
If your target is x amount of exercise, then pencil it in for the week.
One thing we will not do, is give up and fizzle away from this thread!
Have a good day.

Fmess your only 2% outside the average body fat range for a woman, you did have some F&V and exercised, which is more than what a lot of others did yesterday , cut yourself some slack, life sometimes gets in the way and the clock has reset for today
You will get there sooner than you think with the upper body workout HDK..trust me
IT makes all the difference to me having DH on board with both the diet& fitness having someone there really does keep me on track, does anyone else have a RL gym/diet partner? do you find it a help or hindrance?
Tues is a busy work day for me so unlikely I will get more than a few minutes to grab a sandwich during the day, hopefully a spin session tonight if on time if not a gym&swim on the cards
Have no idea what food will be tonight most likely veg frittata and salad (getting a bit egged out again tho) or halloumi skewers
It's a new day, sun is shining so have a good one.0 -
applemuncher - ouch, hope you are on the mend soon.
I am going to the gym today and will be doing upper body weights and 20 minutes running.
I am also going to clean the windows which will burn a few calories then a dog walk to the woods to enjoy the bluebells before they go.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I need to put batties in the Wii so I can weigh myself accurately. I dropped 2lbs in 2 mins this morning on the bathroom scales...surprisingly a full bag of flour gained 0.5lb too:rotfl:
Hubby has agreed he needs to lose weight after looking at our holiday photos, hopefully this will be motivation for us both!0
