    Evening all

I started with so much purpose but have lost my way. I'm back like the idea of a challenge to refocus my mind. So many of you are inspirational and I would like to be one of those people! I need to get in the zone that HelenDave mentions have managed it in other areas of my life but struggling with consistency with eating and exercise.

Fmess & Dolly like the idea of a challenge for this week.
    1. At least 5 portions fruit and veg a day.
    2. No refined sugar this week.
    3. Home made lunches - 5 days.
    4. At least 3 lycra exercise sessions as well as walking and dancing.
    5. 2 x 500 kcal days during the week.

Hope you all have a good week.

My fitness regime has taken a stumble. I've injured my knee when I was out clubbing. So now I can't do many cardio exercises and I'm going to have to go to the GP and get an MRI scan, as my knee has been dodgy for a while.

Looks like I'm going to have concentrate on my upper body for a while!

    Morning all.

Stewby we all have our guilty pleasure's life would be some boring if we didn't, great thing about this thread to me is it also focus on activity not just diet so I can have my cake enjoy it :D with overall little impact, what goes on this week will come off the next if we all just keep on trucking.

Yesterday was fantastic had the roads to ourselves ended up out along Lands End to St Ives then back to the Godolphin Arms at Marazion where I was very good and had scrambled eggs on toast overlooking St Michael's Mount...altho I did also have a Costa skinny latte at Hayle on the way home :D

Tea ended up mushroom omelettes over veggie burgers as ran out of time after spinning and just wanted to eat.

Weigh in for me tonight at SW should be interesting I been quite good but don't feel that actually lost this week.

Fmess I think you eat a rainbow this week a new veg/fruit of each colour over the next 7 days..red should be easy :D

    Have a great day everyone

    Hi

It's important to plan ahead. Healthy food doesn't have to take ages to make or cook and there are lots of quick exercise activities you can do. Try putting aside 30 minutes for a walk after work or maybe you could do something during your lunch break?

Hope you get better soon sharon, swimming wod be ideal. I've also heard the bike and cross trainer are good as they are less intense on your knees than walking or running.

stewby dont worry about what has already happened, just focus on moving forward with your good habits from last week

Today I'm struggling to get out of bed, I feel shattered.

Hope you have a good day.

    Jumping on the challenges bandwagon....

    This week I shall:
    - eat 6+ veg per day
    - consume no added sugar
    - do 4 sweaty workouts
    - get to bed before 10pm

And then we hit half term :D.

Good morning all. Managed to haul myself out of bed at 6.00am and do the Shred DVD:eek: Was amazed as I actually managed to do Level 1 .....last time I tried I couldn't even complete it:rotfl: Whether I'll be able to climb any stairs today is another matter!

Yesterday was a good day eating wise however, I think the Chinese I had the other day, plus the popcorn and chocolate at the cinema, have taken their toll.....weighed myself this morning and was 9st 10lbs. With sensible eating, I should hopefully lose that again this week (fingers crossed)

Joining in the weekly challenge, my aims are:

    1. To lose 2lbs
    2. Complete the Shred workout at least 5 days out of the 7
    3. Eat at least 5 portions of fruit & veg per day
    4. In bed by 10.30pm
    5. One daily treat of a 2 finger kit kat.....no other biscuits/puddings

Good luck everyone with your challenges
