Hello All,It all went downhill since my last post.Jeeze where has my willpower gone, just too greedy I expect.Walked 40mins around the field, enjoyed it, listening to my music and the sun shining.Defrosted some raspberries last night so I'll have some museli and a muller vanilla yoghurt, and a chopped banana shortly, not really hungry yet.Well just watching hubby doing some weeding for a change, just went to see where he was and he's talking to the neighbour, talk about us women!!Be back later, need some positive vibes :-)

tori - your day out sounds lovely.

Sharon - hope your knee gets better soon, I dread getting an injury. You could do light weights but lots of reps which would give you a bit of a cardio workout.

Stewby - draw a line under the weekend and forget about it.

Fmess - I will follow your challenge. 5 hours of exercise sounded a lot so I added up how much I do during the week and it came out at about 5 hours not including 5 hours dog walking.

I have been to the gym this morning and have done 20 minutes on the treadmill at varying speeds and inclines but all of it was running/jogging, then 10 minutes rowing and 10 minutes on a spinning bike at high resistance. I will do 30 minutes cycling after tea and have also done 45 minutes dog walking.

    Today's menu

B/F Oats so simple, soya milk.
Phase 2 after gym - slice seeded bread with flora and marmalade, coffee.

Lunch - 2 slices white bread, gammon, flora, fruit and yoghurt.
Tea - HM lamb curry from yesterday with rice.

    Snacks - fruit and squash.

SW saw me with 1/2LB gain :( it was pointed out that every 4th week I have a slight gain but that's beside the point i'd been pretty good this week

My challenge will be mostly a mix of everyone elses :D

1 5 hours of exercise (currently do 3hrs)
    2 no refined sugar
3 bed before 10PM..may even get to enjoy that one ;)
    4 lose at least 2LB
5 Not reward myself with food but treat myself with a pamper session, EG..paint my nails or a undisturbed soak in the bath..good luck to me getting that one :D

somyagilberts small changes are easier to make habits then big ones start small even if it's just replacing a chocolate bar with an apple or rep's with a couple of 500ml water bottles over weights, I often have to drag myself out the door to a session but I know once i've started I'll have a great time and it gives me a real energy boost by the end of it.

hello to all the new faces look forward to hearing your progress good luck everyone keep trucking :D

    Jumping on the challenges bandwagon....

    This week I shall:
    - eat 6+ veg per day
    - consume no added sugar
    - do 4 sweaty workouts
    - get to bed before 10pm

And then we hit half term :D.

I've eaten my veggies and kept off the sugar. The workout is scheduled for tomorrow and I'm off to bed very soon!

5 colleagues have joined me so far in the challenge to lose weight - am so chuffed! :D

Well done everyone :) Great start to the week :)

Looks like you've started something there :)

    Today food wise was;

Breakfast - two slices of toast
    Snack - grapes
Lunch - leftover mash potato and salad and yoghurt
Dinner - bolognese mince and vegetables

Great day until someone gave me a box of chocolate orange this evening! Ate many of them :( But that's my chocolate part of the challenge over for the week :)

Had grapes, salad, peas, tomatoes and mushrooms today, although maybe not enough mushrooms to call it a portion. So 4.5 portions of fruit or veg today :)

No exercise today, although this was partially expected. Hoping to drag myself on an early morning run tomorrow.

Morning... well... it isn't too bad a day here in stewby-ville. Official weigh day today and I only gained 1lb despite eating atrociously bad.

Back on the wagon today and just as determined as before so the crossing of fingers are not required (although I am going to anyways).
    ;)

    Hope everyone is doing okay.

Morning,Well yesterday went ok-ish.Had my bread quota in the morning with a couple of bananas, had museli and yoghurt with raspberries later on.Had a beef and onion salad at tea-time and still wasn't satisfied soooo had sliced pork and apple sandwich,no butter though. Now I will not have bread today to compensate. After work this morning I went to Asda, and got some more salad stuff and satsumas which I've had 2 just now and a small pear, and a glass of water. Will post menues later as its bound to change from what I write down now.Walked another half an hour in the park yesterday was lovely day, thunder storm in the evening :/Back later have a nice day folks :-)

    Hi all.

All challenge requirements for yesterday were met.

Today I have been for a bike ride and got a puncture 2 miles from home so had to push it home uphill all the way. To make up for that I will run this evening.

I am about to walk the dog for an hour now, not sure whether to wear a coat it is very dull and a bit cool here this morning.

    Today's food will be

B/F Oatso simple porridge, soya milk, coffee
+ (after bike ride/push) slice of soreen toasty, flora and coffee

Lunch - ham sandwich, fruit and yoghurt

Tea - mexican beef with peppers, onion and mushrooms, side salad, 2 large wraps.

    Snacks - fruit, squash.

tori - boo to those 1/2 scales at SW.

applemuncher - hope your colleagues stay on board.
