    Morning all

Sorry for my absence. Keep taking one step forward and three back at the moment. Today is good shop day so I'm planning on buying healthy foods so I have no excuses. Also decided that I'm going to try cut out chocolate as its a huge weakness of mine and I struggle to control the amount I eat.

Didn't so a gym visit this week but promise to go today, in between a full house clean and lots of food shopping.

Have a good day all :)

    Hi all.

Had my rest day on Thursday this week due to an event at the gym for National Fitness Day yesterday, I did a spin class followed by a step and tone class. In the evening I ran to the local country park to meet DH and the kids and dog. Today we are going for a family walk, it is rough terrain but won't be hard due to having the kids with us, then this afternoon 10 miles on the bike - yay.

Me and DH have planned some more long bike rides, he has booked some Friday's off work to use up his holidays and we are also going to start rock climbing again. We both used to climb but it is hard enough without trying to drag 6 extra stones with you.

Got weighed this morning - 2lb off, happy and not happy at the same time as I am 2lb away from my target for this month, it is definitely getting harder now I am so close as my body is just adapting to everything I do so quickly.

Dolly I am always in awe of how much exercise you do, it is very inspirational.

Just got back from the gym, my class had been cancelled again, grrrr. However I stayed and did 25 minutes on the treadmill and 20 minutes on the bike. Not too bad after 6 weeks of only walking.

    Breakfast - porridge
    Lunch - soup
Dinner - takeaway but only having a main meat/veg dish with no sides

  • I have got another workout under my belt. 12 minutes of full burpee (with press up) + handstand. Did 44, which is pretty good!

How annoying! Again! Well done on staying and exercising.

One thing with working out at home is that I set the schedule, so a cancellation is usually just a postponement. Don't know if that's a good or a bad thing, some days!

The class cancellations are really annoying as I try to do a combination of classes and gym workouts, but my favourite classes are only on a few times a week. Aiming to go Monday or Tuesday night to the next class, but wonder if its an issue with the instructor, whether they will be cancelled too.

I am always jealous of your home workouts - no travel costs, get them over and done with, free!!!! At my house, I would get mobbed by 5 dogs and a cat if I tried to workout at home :rotfl:

Hope you get to do your classes. When I do a workout at home it freaks my Labrador out plus if I am on the floor I am at his mercy and he tries to lay on me.

I will be running today, probably up a hill.

Bad weekend with the munchies and no exercise since Friday on a brighter note only have 3 rooms left to paint and the whole house has been done for another year..or two if im lucky :)

Foodwise I will have to be good over month hopefully curbing my spending with curb my waistline as I struggle over the dark half of the year to stay off the stodge, im very much a spring/summer girl..maybe hibernation is the answer :)

    Hi all,

Been away over the weekend to visit family. So no exercise or good food choices since Friday morning!

I've been better today. Had ready brek for breakfast, spiced lentil soup for lunch with 1 slice of wholemeal bread and a scraping of flora light. Dinner was roast pork, roast pots, cauli cheese, peas, carrots and gravy. Delish! And far too calorific...

Snacks have been 2 x Twinks hobnobs. So bad, but oh so good!

Exercise wise; went out for a 3.4k run, with a killer uphill section in the middle! Taking some inspirastion from the amazing Daisy :D.
Tomorrow will be the gym for some cardio, but mostly weights to help develop some muscle mass. So tired this evening!

Have enough soup to last me until Thursday or Friday, so breakfasts and lunches for work days are all sorted. Just need to get a better handle on my evening meal, as they are too big and too high in calories still.

Sunday was awful food wise but much better yesterday. Didn't get to the gym as work took over my evening :( I did do a smallish dog walk though. Today will attempt the gym again but more working is probably more realistic. Food should be:-

    Breakfast- porridge
    Lunch - humous and crudit!s
Dinner - fajita chicken and veg, no wraps
Snacks - raspberries and light crisps
