Do you share your bed with your pets?

Had the pleasure of being made very comfortable on the dog bed when substantially pregnant & at a militaria fair. The stallholders have Great Danes - when I needed a nap, the Danes bed was flipped, a new blanket wrapped on it & I slept blissfully.
To surface drowsily, to find a Dane benignly watching over me at a thoughtful distance, who then jumped down to alert the humans to get the kettle on.
So while I don't share my bed with dogs, sometimes they share their bed with me...0 -
Yep. My cat Jessie has slept in my bed since she was a kitten. She used to sleep on top of my head for some reason, then she got too big and heavy...lol Now she'll head upstairs with me when I go to bed, has to rush past me up the stairs because she can't bear to walk behind me. Then when I settle on my front to read, she'll climb onto my back and sleep until I turn the light off and turn over. She then moves down to sleep between my legs on top of the duvet. God I love the little monster....I don't think I'd sleep properly if she wasn't here now!0

No, my pets sleep downstairs. They are not allowed upstairs whatsoever.
I love my pets dearly but they need to know their boundaries. Plus, I do not want to wake up with pet hairs all over me!0 -
Our two puppies sleep together in their large & very comfy crate in the living room but when hubby comes downstairs in morning to make tea. They're let out first for pee & then hurtle upstairs to join me in bed for cuddles & snuggles. Then we all nod off to sleep again.0

Our current dog gets too hot to sleep on the bed, he jumps off after having a quick snuggle when we go to bed. Our last dog would happily sleep on the bed if only one of us was there, but she too would get off once she thought we'd gone to sleep
.
She also used to be let out in the morning for her comfort break and hurtle back upstairs to sleep with me, but I now have the best alarm clock in the world! Just before the alarm goes off, the OH sends current dog upstairs to get me up. He gives a single moan, then jumps on the bed and starts to lick me. Hard to be grumpy after morning cuddles with him with him.Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j
If all else fails, remember, keep calm and hug a spaniel!0 -
very often mutt will go upstairs on his own and we'll find him either under the bed or lying on the floor but on OH's side of the bed. Occasionally he'll be on the bed,under the duvet.
Then, when we've gone up, he wanders over to the floor by my side of the bed.
very often though we've woken up and he's under the duvet at our feet.2014 Target;

they usually ignore all the above & sleep on hubby instead"Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at it" Einstein 19510 -
First 2 cats, one on my chest, the other on my feet (I hardly move at all during the night). Our current cats, one will sleep at the right hand side of me, the other pops in at about 5am. Dog, sleeps on the bean bag in the spare room but has recently ended up between us and under the covers head down!? I have no idea...0
