Yes, because after 2 years of living in the same house peacefully, one ginger tom decided he didnt like the other and the fur flew, so one of them and his aunty who have always been together until I gave them a home are in with me, she doesnt really sleep on the bed, she sleeps on a chair most nights, hes a lively !!!!!!, but Im used to him now and hes a lovely lad so I dont mind. The others sleep in the living room.0

They allow me a little bit of the bed, so long as I don't wriggle too much!0

Pipsqueak sleeps in my bed. She likes being under the duvet as well
If I've had a late night due to work, she lets me know when it's time to get up by putting her face right next to mine and just stare until I wake up
She doesn't snore, so all is well

They are chucked out 4am as that is when ours get fairly active.
They stay at the bottom of their bed.
my previous cat was an angel at night - he'd fall asleep curled into the back of my legs and thats where he'd stay until I woke up in the morning.
Current kit starts off well - he usually settles down and falls asleep either on my bed or my DD's, but at anywhere between 4.30am and 6am he wakes up and wants to play, so thats when he gets sent out of the bedrooms and the doors shut on him.0 -
So how do you all cope/deal with the hair on the duvet??? Collie would never lower himself to getting on a human bed! Spaniel pup used to at every opertunity ,not so much now
Might be as I would screech "wait till I've got ur cover, off off off" so he dosnt bother now0 -
Just my husband.
He lets the children in after I've gone to work.

3 of the 4 dogs sleep on the bed squashed up to me as much as possible. But the 'bed' is now just a mattress on the floor because of Joey's arthritis- it would break his heart if he couldn't sleep snuggled up to me. With previous old dogs I've just made a disabled ramp, but Joey's gone a bit wibbley wobbley as well, and I can't risk him falling off the bed.
The cats just sleep on top/inbetween us.

if my 2 cats get excluded they shout (meow very loudly) outside the bedroom door for ages and the younger of the two grumbles and hisses if you try to move him off. Me and my partner often end up on bed edges or he gets a head warmer as the older smaller cat sleeps by his head.I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0
