Had a great day too. Got far too many chocolates which was going to be my New Years Resolution to give them up, but it would be rude to give them away :)
Got £110 which I might just treat myself with for a change.
Working tomorrow and it's our Big Sale, so might spot a bargain amongst the rush.

    Bye for now.
    xx
  • Oh well that's it all over for another year. Debt will have risen but hey ho at least now I know what to do about it and at the moment I luckily am in the position where I can afford what I have ( been at the point before where I couldnt). Going to call building society re my secured loan and see what I still owe and also my car and add them all onto my debt totals and snowball them along with everything else and get my !!! in gear and get debt free in the next couple of years hopefully. I feel so inspired now Christmas is over. I have thrown out loads of food from yesterday just because I was too disorganised to wrap and freeze the leftovers  . Oh well I'll just pretend that for a day I was well off :rotfl: . Backto the usual skint bint that I am.
I'm off of work until next Monday and then only in for 1 day then off another 2, so, easy street workwise the next 2 weeks. I need to get ultra organised though as my Diploma starts in earnest on my return to work and I want to do really well in it. I am excited again about money saving !!! Sad git that I am .

Binnie I hope you get loads of lovely bargains with your cash. x

Well it was a very busy day.
People were already queuing up at 8.50 and the store opened at 9am.
When the doors were open there was a stampede and I couldn't stop laughing.
I've never witnessed anything like it only on TV. It was so busy all day and people just went mad buying anything they thought was a bargain.
Some of it was complete rubbish, I really cringed when they bought handbags which they thought were a good buy, when I have an ebay shop full of them cheaper, but only sold two items today myself.
Maybe I should have sneaked some on the shelves and sold my own. :rotfl:

The bosses wouldn't allow us staff to buy anything so the money is still burning a hole in my pocket.
To be honest though, I didn't see anything I particularly wanted coming through the checkouts , so i don't feel as though i've missed out.

Has anyone else been out to the sales today?

    xx
  • not me Binnie. I am skint and tbh there's nothing I really need to get. DS bought aTV from Comet and it will be delivered on Friday. Got £50 off it so he is really delighted. Looks like I need to buy yet another bloody power cable for my laptop. Really pees me off how often these cables need replaced but I love the convenience of the lappy. Am offski to save my battery  .
