 . I got my bill in today for MBNA and I had been 2 days late last month because bank were slow sending the money. £12 late fee and loss of 0%. £72 interest  . Next month's interest is estimated at £81 and payment to be £87. I nearly had a heartattack. I called them and aparently they are charging me 29.9% interest. That should be bloody illegal!! Have BT'd it to Barclaycard @ 6.9% LOB and no fees. I can't wait to get rid of my CC debt cos quite honestly when things like this happen I feel like I've been mugged. How can they justify these charges??
Any ways all sorted now and I just cant wait to get back into the swing of moneysaving but will need to be after Christmas now as I still have a couple of things to get organised.
I am sooooooooo cold today my heating is up full bung and my nose is still cold lol. Had a chippy tea again and have stopped counting for my grocery challenge. Completely lost the plot. Eejit that I am

Grrr, this slow transfer of money annoys me so much. I've just had to pay a credit card bill that isn't due until the 31st, but because of all the bank holidays I daredn't leave it any longer to do the transfer. If it's all electonic why does it take so damn long!?!
lol at losing the plot on the grocery shopping. We've just hit Tescos for supposedly 2 weeks shopping - £179!!!! I had bought a bottle of perfume for my niece and it is broken!! I'll need to buy another one. Shopping is ordered online to get delivered on Saturday. I just cant believe that 1 week today it'll be all by. I am still not organised lol but hey ho it'll come alright in the end up and we will have fun fun fun.
Been baking tonight. Made 4 gingerbreads and chocolate brownies
I actually baked bread as well but it isn't looking too hopeful for it rising:o . DS needs a packed lunch tomorrow but I have no bread so will no doubt have to jump to the shop in the morning. Had to go to the vets tonight to get the rabbit's teeth clipped but DD pays for that as it was part of the deal when we got pets. Oh I'm a miserable cow :rotfl:5 Year plan. I really am becoming a miserable cow. I am soooooooo sick of dishing out money when all I can think about is that I could be paying it off my debt lol. The kids seem to have their hands out constantly just now. Kids are at the mo putting up our decorations. I am going to tackle the mountain of paperwork I have lying about. I will do it for 30 minutes maximum and then get the rest of my cards written as tomorrow is the last day for posting.
Was at a funeral today so feeling a bit bleugh. It was an elderly neighbour but I have lived 2 doors from her for 18 years so was a bit sad. 2 days to go and then off for a week :j . Cant bloody wait x

:santa2: :santa2: :santa2: Hi mit
Sorry to hear you are feeling crappy today. sad news about your neighbour especially at this time of year.
Never mind you only have a couple of days left at work, then you can relax:D and by this time next week it will all be over with for another year and you will be able to work on your debts again without the festivities taking all your cash.
Try not to get too down, I like reading your diary for my daily dose of humour;) :rolleyes:you have a great easy to read and funny style of writing.
Take care.

aww thanks sophiesmum. Thats nice. Feel a bit better now tbh as cards all written ( had already done them but I lost them
), Deccys are all up, house still like a tip but will catch that up at the weekend no problem so all in all quite organised. Will sit tomorrow night and make a short list of what I still have to buy.
I have paid all my CC bills and my childcare for the end of the month :j so that will cut me some slack. Lost 2 days wages due to strike though and have a bed to pay for from ARGOS on the 12th Jan  . Will wait and see what the wages are but I reckon I will be able to manage okay. Either that or my menu plans will be a skoosh

Hiya Everyone,
Hope you all have a Jolly Good Xmas.
I only have that one day off and then have to go back to work on Boxing Day for 9am as the sales start and I've heard it's mayhem.
I know what I would rather be doing than rummaging around in sales.
hmm.

Thanks Binnie hope you do too even though you will be working your wee socks off xx
Finished today until 31st December :j :j . Bloody brilliant I say.
Got 3 days to make house respectable for Christmas. Food being delivered tomorrow. I have already got the meat from the butchers so I am pretty organised.
I need to get a new tyre tomorrow. It is rather baldy and so icy here I am afraid to drive. Also apparently £60 if you get stopped by the police so would much rather spend £60 on a new tyre.
Checked my pay slip today and because of nice wage rise I have only actually lost £55 for strike days. Good show by jove. I had reckoned on about £130. Might actually manage to eat in January now. Managed to access the HR system in work today and claim my expenses. £140 to get and DS's bed that I need to pay on 12th Jan before 0% runs out is £150 odds so that is fab news. Need to move my fat a** and wrap and deliver pressies tomorrow morning and then I can potter around house and get it all shiny. I'm excited hee hee 3 more sleeps. :snow_grin5 Year plan.
